Burton bindings then included a cant plate, I used to run cant on the back foot. These days most folks use toe or heel lift, cant is uncommon. There is still some guys that do that on world cup level, i.e. benny karl https://www.instagram.com/p/CItlo09FPrz/?igshid=b8nn1vg0t5aj

The Austrian team was getting some training time in before the Vancouver Olympics. At that time he was running some old Burton Physics that had been modified with huge lift. Don’t recall cant but it may well have been thrown in there. They were very high off the board. Conditions were soft and those guys were leaving giant trenches wherever they rode.
snowcat_az
Short stylish promo (full video didn't come out though). Easy recreational GS on shallow slope. Pro racer (Manabu Kobayashi ?) test-riding JJ 180GS:
snowcat_az
Some talking on technique and training from olympic winner: One confusing thing however - he says gaining speed in turns, which I think is actually opposite.
Colozeus
Just wanted to show off some footage from today. Amazing what a big difference reducing fwd lean on my rear boot made. It was a good day with @Odd Job https://photos.app.goo.gl/tYoNExTP9T6CLMmF8 https://photos.app.goo.gl/mvus5Gn7puhbJSAf7 (if i look like a hunch back, that's my camel pack under my jacket) Edited December 20, 2020 by Colozeus

Carvin' Marvin
@Colozeus Your riding has improved a lot since we rode together last season (I think, might have been the year before). Keep it up. You could edit all your clips into one youtube video to make them easier to watch. Just my worthless two cents.

I don't have any experience with video editing software but i'll give that a go for the next set of videos from tomorrow. I think i might be able to do it in youtube itself. Same color boots, pants, jacket and helmet. The vevet videos are always awesome. I don't care if they are rubbing all sorts of body parts on the snow, they look so freaking cool and they are definitely having fun.
