yamifumi
Just came in the mail from canada ....... I really loved the board Jasey-Jay built for me so I got another one with exact same spec in longer length and SCR. JJA boards are one of the best board out there IMO. I love my Oxess (s) but JJA tops it.

GeoffV
@Shred Gruumer we need some proof of you laying some ruts with those Stöckli’s, I’ll be the first to admit I enjoy laying down some carves on 2 planks once and a while...

It’s a very neutral board to ride, great edge hold, softer flex than the Coiler ECVC. Works well carving steeper runs. Je confirme elle est plus douce en sorti de virage et bonne dans presque toute condition très polyvalente, j'ai eu 2 ECVC et pour L'EC la PRO est supérieure

chaoticbiker
Finally got this Proteus 170 all set up thanks to @Wolf for the TD3 bindings and @patmoore for loaner bindings, first tune, lessons, and getting me hooked. I’ll be testing it all out together Friday at Okemo.

The board on the far right is a stock 157 SL. It's very soft, good if you just want to cruise around easily at a busy resort. Next to that is a 162 metal top with the older style rounded nose. It lacks the early rise at the nose which the newer shape has that makes turn initiation a tiny bit easier. Next two are are also 162 SL, one with metal topsheet and the other ptex. The one with the ptex topsheet was custom made for a racer and is stiffer than stock. Combined with the geckos, it's was my favourite setup until the next board came along. Far left is a 168. Believe the hype, it's a free-carving Cadillac and I haven't even put a plate on it yet. Edited March 3, 2020 by charliechocolate
dgCarve
@charliechocolate Why don't you want to try some Kessler with bigger SCR? Why only SL boards? P.S. BTW, Kessler 168 rocks Taking into account that it is made in Europe, it is probably BMW... M2 maybe... The shorter one on the right is a NFCB 174 with a 10.5/12.7/12 sidecut and the bigger one is a Monster 184 with 11/13.7/13 sidecut. I'm on the list for early next season and hearing what Bruce has to say I think it will be a Contra.

Glad I brought them along.
Emdee406
Thanks @Poloturbo! Just got back from BC to find this beauty... I rode the 2021 Nidecker Smoke, loved it, then found out that other than cosmetic changes, it’s the same as the 2017 sexier-looking, but badly named Nidecker ‘The Donuts’...which was a lot cheaper! I was badly disappointed when I got the Korua Café Racer untried, THIS is how it should have ridden! Cant wait to ride it. ps. A little Jean Nerva tribute too Edited March 8, 2020 by Emdee406 Media added
Poloturbo
Ride the hell out of it for me... hope you like it. Seems very stiff and awesome board. Still got the burton VHS tape with Jean Nerva and Even flow from Pearl Jam. Still smiling.
