What is your softboot Donek? My buddy & I are riding Fluxes with Flow bindings. I'll be interested in hearing how you like it.

The snow here isn't good enough for me to venture to the mountains yet this season. I rode my Flux all last season and love it. I'll be interested to hear how you like yours.

New to me...

some people’s old bx boards are other people’s twin/freestyle boards

163/12m/25.8w

Are you going to put a plate on it or live with the single stance option? I have no idea where my stance will end up with the Jones, haven’t ridden softies in 3 decades. Going to try the min first which is an inch wider than my normal alpine stance.

Stance width is 21.5” which is my preferred width. I usually center up on the side cut as much as possible

It's a 155 Saber... I think.

I wanted a Saber ever since riding @slopestar's beast. However I've since dropped a lot of weight and have an awesome DO too. So when this shorter one popped up I literally grabbed it. Have not ridden it yet but it sure looks like fun! My "problem" right now is that I have too many things to ride!

BTW, I've been slowly migrating away from Flow bindings. I find that they create a lot of pressure on the top of my foot which really hurts at times. Trying Salomon Quantums now (the Saber has Cartels on it).

neil i take it your riding angles closer to your alpine set up rather than duck?

It’s all a big experiment. Right now I have it +15/+36, 52 cm wide. 36 is the max for the bindings I’m using. I’ll take that to the local hill whenever it opens and start to play with it.

@JRAZZ I’m thinking of going 3 strap myself....

New-new...first new one in a long, long time!  BXFR 165ish length with a 26ish waist.  8/10/9m sidecut.

Ha- love the color scheme.  Reminds me of an airplane I had built that I spent a ton of time designing the color scheme on.

The little brother showed up a few days ago. I originally referred to it as a mini-conductor even though it is Technically a SF. First impressions changed my mind to TLB (turny little bastard). Turns like 163 Pure Board Bastard I demoed at the 2016 ATC without the chatter, etc.

To me, a very complimentary board to the Superconductor.

Stay Thirsty my friend!
