Very interested in trying it next season. Curious what I will think of it. It is a very expensive entry into a new setup.
  3. I weigh around the same as you and rode with the sliver tongue. I tried the dark grey, it was to stiff and hurt my shin. UPZ Tongues
  4. MS flex and stiffness has certainly been interesting for me to explore this season having switched from UPZ to MS. I have been through all 3 brands Deeluxe T700 to UPZ with medium flex tongues and custom BTS ((stiffer springs) to MS 120 WC C shell flex. For reference I am around 185lbs. I think the struggle a lot of us have is knowing around what the stiffness flex is for T700 and UPZ and trying to compare that to the MS boots. Since there is no standard for flex stiffness because of shell design and material the flex numbers don't translate exactly. Same thing with ski boots. It took me a while to get my boots dialed in. I finally got them working after having ordered a 110 tongue from I-carve with softer blue strings. This reduced the stiffness a lot and took away the shin pain I was getting from the stiff 120 tongues. I am curious if they are now similar in flex to a standard 100 flex boot? I can't see who the hell would ride the 130 flex boots
  5. Been a nice turn of events. I am looking at my work schedule for next week….
  6. Once we collected all the builders I'll clean this up and separate SB from HB or both sections. Probably lock it down once we have everything collected to keep it clean.
  7. Damn, that is a bummer. I’d love that board back for wall art. What happened? @Grip what flex are the MS boots, Standard 100 flex?
  8. Collection of Hardboot (HB) Softboot (SB) and Skwal (SK) Manufacturers. We'll keep this thread locked to keep it clean, if there are companies missing please PM me.
  9. Carving season is unfortunately done in New England. Get your skis out. We will not recover from this rain and warm weather.

If someone is buying the JJA and needs a JJA plate I know someone that will be selling one.
  12. So very sorry! Having planned 5 ECES events with a team over the years I know how much goes into planning an event and the stress that comes with it. My heart goes out to Dave and Kristen. Weather is the biggest stress leading up to the event that you have no control over.@dredmanhand in there buddy we all love ya! Burnout is a big concern for events like this, enhance why there is no more ECES on the East Coast.
  13. This is awesome @Cody Winters the new Damian Sanders or Mike Jacoby of HB'ing
  14. Love it @Neil Gendzwill now if we could just get Bruce to re-create the PJ zebra base from the Burton PJs from the early 90's that would be awesome. Got this wall art hanging in my garage.
  15. @i8summer since you are in Canada Sidecut has some great tuning and waxing products. I have been using their stuff for quite a while
  16. Jack guarantees riding with ASB goods will improve your form and carving abilities
  17. That Burton Alp at close to 30 years old will not be doing you any favors getting backing into HBs. I would highly recommend getting some new gear. The new boards are so much easier to ride. If you can’t afford new, check out our classifieds section there is always great used gear for sale.
  18. I know I am the only “normal” rider in that bunch
  19. That is very creative @fumbimo My son use to spend hours building worlds designing homes in Minecraft when he was younger. He would have loved to put some of that on his Coiler.
  20. before you look for new boots I would echo lonbordin's suggestion to find a bootfitter and get your toe box punched out. I had it done on my T700's years ago and it helped.
  21. So you’re looking for some free tix to Beavercreek?
  22. I don’t recommend them on a Contra, they go against Bruce’s design of the Contra, and his point about stiffening up the board under foot is true, I experienced that . I tried them last season on my Contra and didn’t like it. However they work great on my F2 WC SL. Contra’s don’t need anything fancy, slap some bindings on it, lean over and let the board do all the work.
  23. @fluxgame Dave, @Eboot (Brian) and @bc1(Brad) @PointBreak Mark ride a few times mid week. I am there most Saturday's and some some Sunday's. I am racing in the Good Race this Sunday and will be there all day but will be tied up with race all day. We can be better about posting when we'll be there.
  24. “SPECS Real 22K Gold Lettering” Wow, certainly a limited edition.
