I'm partial to the high gloss finish of my (last years) DO 161 myself! Yeah, Shane said the DO 165 is 15% stiffer than the DO 161 and that the DO 161 is 15% stiffer than the DO 158. Where you riding this winter Shred...you, Erazz and I gotta meet up and have our Alloy D.O.'s lay waste to the groomers! I still say it: These boards are not tools, they are a weapon to inflict physical damage on the hill! I finally got that FA coat after a great trade. Now for pants... we are so fortunate to be able to turn to so many great manufacturers to produce boards that take our snowboarding where WE want it to go. I couldn’t imagine having to go to the local shop and pick something off the rack... it would be like going on vacation to a major destination and having to rent a board... Thanks to everyone that helps us go where we want on a snowboard and not where the industry says we should.
