  1. Just curious if anyone has a pair of Deeluxe Track225 in a size 24.0mp they are willing to part with. May also consider the Deeluxe Track325. Let me know. Thanks
  2. I have been out of the carving loop for quite a while. Went looking for the Bomber website and it is not available. Anyone know what is going on with Bomber? Thanks
  3. First question : Do you ride with footbeds in your boots (inside your liners)? Do you ride with heat-moldable liners? https://www.tognar.com/ski-boot-fitting/ If you don't have access to purchasing stuff from Tognar, your local ski shop/boot fitter may have some similar items as seen on the above link. Hope this helps.
  4. Hey, which insert is stripped? Any pic of said stripped insert? Thanks!
  5. Anyone out there, that has access to 3D printers, make them for other riders for sale? I would be interested in purchasing a set of simple, low-profile heel lift/toe lift risers for a soft boot snowboard like my Nidecker Spectre 157N. Low profile, as in, 2-3 degree lift. Let me know!
  6. Damn Dude! When did you get so old? All kidding aside...Good Luck to her and hope she makes it!
  7. Crazy day on the mountain today! Snow, rain, sunny breaks, rainbows and then had to close the mountain early due to Lightning!!!
  8. Funny thing was I did check their webcam this morning before I left and it was snowing and 27F. So, I thought I'd take a chance! It was a strange, strange day! Snow overnight, turned to rain, sunny breaks while raining, rainbows and then lightning to close the mountain at 2:20pm! It was crazy seeing ski patrol and employees scurrying around getting people off the mountain!
  9. So...who out there...(in their right mind!?) heads out to go snowboarding...when it's raining at their house when they're packing up the car to leave? I'm about to do just that! Inquiring mind want to know!
  10. So, I rode at Bretton Woods on my freshly tuned Donek! First off, it was a winter wonderland up there today, so you'd be hard-pressed not to ride/carve well today! Great day! I was switching off between my freshly tuned Donek and my Coiler Nirvana Balance that I bought a few years ago! There was nary a difference between my 2 boards today! The Rodgers Ski Shop tune made a huge difference in the way my Donek rides! Highly recommend Josh at Rodgers! Great tune!
  11. Yup, barryj recommended Josh at Rodgers and that is who I talked to! Very knowledgeable...actually, the whole snowboard crew downstairs knew a bit about alpine! Knew all the right names...Donek, Coiler, Bomber, Deeluxe, etc. They were saying they get some inquiries about alpine gear, just not enough to support alpine. Too bad!
  12. Yeah, I had The Speed Factory in Campton, NH tune my Donek Metal 172 "tincan" a while back and I gotta say it rode somewhat cantankerously ever since! As it turns out, The Speed Factory is now longer in business. There are 2 shops in my general driving proximities that I will try out or have tried out. I had my cantankerous tincan tuned last Friday at Rodgers in Lincoln, NH. Which they turned it around in a day! I will be riding it tomorrow to see how it rides! The other shop is in Newbury, NH at/near the base of Mt Sunapee. I will be finding a donor board for them to tune for me to see how they do!
  13. What kind of boards? What kind of boots? Intec heels?
  14. I too was at Bretton Woods on Saturday! The conditions were pretty good! Almost took out my New Coiler, but decided to wait a little longer! Maybe this weekend!
  15. No, not BlueB's topsheet! I came up with the idea on my own and Bruce tweaked it to work on my board!
  16. My addition to my quiver for 2018/19 season! My new Coiler Angrry 160! And a lightly demoed 2018 Nidecker Stectre 157! Almost rode the Coiler this weekend, but didn't trust the coverage quite yet! Soon Grasshopper, soon!
  17. Well, I live in Southern NH. I ride at Bretton Woods, Ragged Mt. I have friends in the Mid-coast of Maine, and friends in the Burlington, VT area and want to explore southern and central VT ski areas. So, the I-95 corridor in NH & ME/I-93 corridor in NH/I-89 corridor in NH & VT/I-91 corridor in VT...so Maine, NH and VT! I'm a nomad at times! I'd like some reviews of the Speed Factory in Campton, NH. And I think there's a shop near Mt Sunapee that might have the equipment to do a good tune.
  18. That is true, if Ski MD is still tuning alpine boards, his tunes are great! I'm just looking for more economical, but proficient tuners closer to me and/or the mountains!
  19. What shop would you recommend that performs good tunes on alpine boards? And how are the prices these days to tune an alpine board? Thanks all!
  20. Hey, I know that guy! That's me on my favorite trail at Bretton Woods! Zealand to Diamond Ridge to Deception Bowl!
  21. First day for me was Sunday, 11/18 at Bretton Woods! I was unsure as to how the conditions were going to be so I set up my Donek FC163. I was wishing that I had set up my Coiler NB172 as conditions were good enough to ride it! I hope to get out after Thanksgiving Friday, Saturday and Sunday! My riding goal/s keep getting harder and harder each passing year! I've always wanted to ride as many days in a season as many years I am old...if that makes any grammatical sense! It was easier to comprehend many, many years ago when I was in my twenties(which I still didn't achieve!)! But now at 51, and with a damn job that eats up too much of my time, it's getting harder to come to fruition! One can dream! Still working on improving my riding! Happy Trails and let's hope for a great season!!!! Let it Snow!
  22. First off, are you looking for TD1/TD3 Step in toe bails/blocks? Second, would you happen to have any TD2 Step in toe blocks/bails? Perhaps a trade if you do?
