Yes they are. I traded them to the owners 16 years ago. They were my personal boards from when I worked at Winterstick in the late 70's early 80's.

We have booked a condo in the ones next to The Columbine, #6 "The Swallowtail Condo" from Dec. 23-28 this year for a vacation on the mountain. I traded a Winterstick Swallowtail and a Roundtail to the owners for 4 days on my 50th birthday. 16 years later I get to see it again. Stop by if you get a chance. But we will be there on the weekends and I'll be there sometimes during the week. I will be dressed pretty LOUD (colorful) most of the time can't miss me.

Thank you Mr.Deep/ Kipp, I enjoyed that very informative instructional video! I will make sure that when mounting the Gecko Plates that I have a copious amount of Cold Refreshing Beverages on hand! Or rather in hand. Looking forward to going back and riding at PowMow after 7 years at the 'basin, hope to meet you and ride with you up there this year.

I am going to set the Gecko's that I bought from slapos up symmetrically first. I think Jack has a good point. Time and experimenting will tell. I didn't have any instructions come with them as to how to set them up. I will contact Apex to see if they will provide some. Looking forward to trying my first set of ISO plates.

Got ours for PowMow, I know not in Colo., they have Epic pass included. Excited to ride again at PowMow after 7 Very crowded seasons at Snowbasin, and getting worse every year there. -

Let me know when you might ride PowMow. I might be able to meet up with you there. The days you posted, the weekend, are SUPER crowded at Snowbasin. Human gates galore, and a lot of totally clueless skiers/riders. I have a pass there and have hardly gone at all this year due to this.

I have the first year model with the black bird on a yellow with black stripes background. Loved it for what is was at the time.. Even have the Original Rossi Carbon Race plate bindings mounted on it still. Great preseason board in case there are rocks lurking under the thin groom. Love riding my Coilers WAY more though.

Snowbasin opens their White Ribbon of Death this Thursday. Maybe going to give it a go since it is midweek. Hoping for a good season , even if it's starting out a little slow. C'mon Ullr!

Also you might try Milo Sport, just up the road. Pretty slim pickings for Alpine gear here in Utah.
