  1. Nice looking deck. And a BIG thank you to Dimitrije Milovich for everything from the old Winterstick days. The new owners seem to be doing it right. Bringing back the stoke of 'sticking! Met them last spring at PowMow Great people.
  2. He truly was a visionary and a Great man.. RIP Dr. Cobabe
  3. Both of my brothers got a Snurfer for Christmas in 1968. This was in Utah.
  4. Where the heck did you get that warning sticker?
  5. I ride with Von Zippers, the Fishbowl model. Pretty comfy wearing glasses. Don't know about that particular lens though. Really good deal for those at Evo.
  6. Or if it's a powder kinda thing going on, either a Rossi Undertaker or an APO 200 Swallowtail.
  7. I'll be rockin' a Coiler in hard boots. I worked at the original company in the late 70's early 80's. Haven't ridden a Winterstick since mid 80's. Went to Les Arcs in France in the winter of 81-82 to introduce 'sticking to Europe. A FUN 5 weeks!
  8. If you are in Utah around the 16th through the 18th of March you might want to head up to Powder Mountain. The Winterstick company is holding a 40+ year reunion those days. It could be kind of interesting to see what they have planned.
  9. And here I thought that Snowbasin was a total zoo on the weekends. Wow just wow!
  10. Disaster barely avoided it looks like. I will check my TD3 step ins regularly now. Thanks for the heads up.
  11. My UPS driver was taking it out of the truck and showed me the damage and then said that he would return it to the warehouse and report the damage. He said " I don't want you to accept a brand new snowboard that is damaged". Pretty good guy that I have known for years. No slinking on his part. Bruce said from what I was able to tell him that my board should be fixable because the damage is on the top sheet. Hopefully not a core shot. I'll know more next week I hope.
  12. lonbordin I too am in the same situation as you were. My Nirvana arrived last week and it had two holes in the packaging with visible damage. Once again UPS was involved. Still waiting to hear from Bruce if it is repairable. I feel bad for Bruce that this has happened twice now this season.
  13. Very nice carving! Looks like FUN was had by everyone.
  14. Welcome to BOL hufsa. Looks like an awesome ride.
  15. Dibs. I'll take it. I live in Layton, Utah 84041 Thanks
  16. Thanks, it's on the Coiler site in graphics. But that is a nice one also. Emailed Bruce and he said he can probably fix it. Just waiting to hear from UPS to see if they have sent it back to him.
  17. Wishing I could post a picture of my new Coiler Nirvana with Bacon top sheet that arrived via UPS. But the driver was concerned with some damage to the shipping box. We both checked out the holes in the box and there were various gouges , one at least 6 inches long and pretty deep in the top sheet. Was told he would take it back to the UPS center and they would get back with me. Major downer!
  18. Great video of some awesome carving. Wish I could be there. My local mountains rarely are that empty of people. Have fun everyone!
  19. Arrived today, look brand new. Thanks Rick. They will look awesome on my new Coiler Nirvana Balance with a Bacon top sheet, that arrives next Wednesday.
  20. Thank you for the smokin' deal Rick. Looking forward to mounting them on my Coiler Nirvana with the bacon topsheet. Mick
  21. I'll take them. Let me know about payment method.
  22. A friend of mine was walking by while I was taking a break on the patio at Snowbasin. they stopped and his son asked, " dad what is that" while pointing to my Coiler. His reply was, "it's kind of like a snowboard". I thought Wow kinda clueless since I had ridden with him and his wife before.
  23. The snow hose faucet has been turned on Full Blast, and someone broke the on/off valve. It has been on full blast for a while now. 110 inch base at Snowbasin at 5:30 this morning with about 10" more by 4:00 in the afternoon. More snow for tonight and tomorrow. Just like the late 70's and early 80's. Yahoo! Slow start to the season, but an awesome make up.
