  1. For myself I center the bindings on the inner most holes, go ride, and then shift both bindings until it feels "right' for me.
  2. barry, just bumped Jack M's post back into the Forum.
  3. bump, to put this topic back in the forums.
  4. Howdy barry, Jack M posted a couple of pictures of the board on Feb 4th. It is under the heading Winterstick dips a toe into the waters. It was loosely based off of their BX board from what I understand. troubler replied on the topic. He is Wintersticks head engineer. He worked with a good friend of mine on the design and build of the board. It was a complete surprise to me when I received it last spring. I got it as a gift because of my involvement with Winterstick starting in Feb. 1976. They even mention me on their webpage in History about going to France. And yes plate bindings, F2 Titanium stepins.
  5. I'm loving my custom Winterstick 165 SL. Might be an option for you as they are located in Maine. Great people also.
  6. dredman, what is the rider count at now? It's great to see the many sponsors who will be there.
  7. Even a mini swallowtail Snurfer! They look like fun.
  8. Yes I was wondering what brand of board it is. My wife and I also ride Rossi's Undertaker. Awesome powder board that also works well on groom.
  9. I'm thinking like you Barry, every time I log on and see that it's still for sale I almost claim dibs. I just received a one of a kind custom Winterstick 165 Alpine board last spring, that Rips, and I'm trying to save money for when I go to MCC. But DAMN this board is tempting.
  10. Coffee, oh heck ya! Wish I could make it back there, I wish you the best for your event.
  11. Looking to buy these this season for riding powder.
  12. Can't wait to go to this event! I have ridden alone for ever, looking forward to riding with other carvers.
  13. Just booked a room at the Evergreen, pretty sweet deal for people coming to ride at Montucky Clear Cut. Thanks for the info Dave.
  14. Probably the first to do that. I have seen older videos from the 1920's and '40's showing people riding their versions of boards back then though. I believe Regis Roland was the first in Europe.
  15. R.I.P. Sherman Poppen a true pioneer. My younger brothers had Snurfers in 1968. But softbootsurfer, lets not leave Dimitrije Milovich out of "the sons of modern snowboarding". Way ahead of Tom and Jake in the boards he was making.
  16. Eagle Point Resort is just outside of Beaver, Utah. Looks like a fun place to ride. I haven't been there though.
  17. Just registered, talked to a very nice lady In Libby. Now need to look up places to stay. Looking forward to this event!
  18. Looks like you could use some gravy for those mashed potatoes.
  19. Sorry about responding so late. I talked with my grandson and unfortunately he has decided that he wants to ride park and rails next season. Damn jibbernauts! Told me that how I ride looks boring just turning and making grooves in the runs. Oh well, as they say "youth is wasted on the young". Sorry about not buying this.
  20. How much for the Rossi Magtek? Looking for a board for my grandson. He is currently riding a 162 Rossi Levitation.
  21. pokkis, I have that same Oxygen in Green.
