  1. Maybe two ravens should consider having C.O.W. at Sun Valley this year? Trish and I have 3 days at Sun Valley on our Snowbasin passes.
  2. I agree with Mark on his observations for the conditions at both resorts. We, (my wife and I) ride Snowbasin and Powder Mountain. Snowbasin starts getting crowded at around 11:00-11:30 on weekends. Powder Mountain a couple hours later, but, the crowds at Powder Mountain are WAY less than at Snowbasin. Riding the backcountry cat will be awesome for you, lots of great terrain. email me at trishwheat at comcast dot net. if you would like to ride together.
  3. fscott,I just sent an email. I am still very interested in your Prior email me at trishwheat at Comcast dot net. I met Art at the C.O.W. event two seasons ago at Grand Targhee. He RIPS! And he is a really great guy.
  4. I have a 171 Kessler that is what I think you want. It isn't brand new, but I am willing to work a deal for it with your Prior. I am lookim ng at I will pay I responded to your original post. I have a Kessler 171 that is in your weight range. I am willing to work a deal with you about your Prior. I am willing to pay a difference in what you want for your Prior against my Kessler.

  6. Nice video and great fakie carving. Solitude is a fun resort.
  7. BDD is The Man! After having been to last years C.O.W. I know how steep the runs are under Blackfoot lift. I bow down to this man, he totally rips ALL and ANY terrain. Dave you are The Man!
  8. Sorry we missed the C.O.W. roundup this year, we were sidetracked rounding up some stray doggies here in Utah. Looks like you were a great trail boss keeping Babe with the herd, trail drovers, and rounding up a new hand. We wonder if it was blue bird conditions because we were hanging around the chuck wagon instead of being out on the trail? But you know that Wishbone and Mushy can cook up some yummy grub! Glad to hear all the buckeroos and buckerettes had a great trail drive this year! Mick
  9. Jack, Thank you so much for all the time and effort it took to get the Forum back up, I bow down to you for all of your time and effort, Thank You!
  10. My wife Trish and I stayed at the Targhee Lodge last year, you even get lift passes with the cost of the room in one of their packages. But you might check the Teewonot(sp) lodge also. They are right at the base of the mountain. Just a suggestion for you. There are other places to stay in the valley (Idaho side, Driggs) that you also might be interested in. From the Targhee website it looks like they have great coverage.
  11. Trish and I went to the "Dark Side' of mountain biking by buying Fat Bikes. So that is the reason we won"t make it to C.O.W. this year. Sorry we won't make it, but we got such a great deal on these monster tire bike's we just couldn't pass it up.
  12. Trish and I will not be able to make it this year, doggone it! Other commitments have come up with us this season. We'll be there in spirit though, channeling our stoke through 'Babe" the official mascot of C.O.W. We hope everyone has a great time. Mick
  13. Howdy Tim, Wanted to let you know I picked up a different board, so I'm out on the 178 Burner. Thanks, Mick
  14. Hopefully Monday brings less people on the mountain. I know I hope the same for Snowbasin.Because it's been a little crazy over the holidays.
  15. I am interested in the 178 Burner email me at trishwheat(at)comcast(dot)net
  16. That guy in the orange pants is my hero. I want to ride like him when I grow up! Big Dog Dave rips! After meeting and riding with him last year at Grand Targhee, he is truly a carving machine.
  17. Just saw the webcams, and those are the conditions Trish and I know and love! They have a very decent base though, wish we had that much. I guess the storm fronts have a difficult time trying to bash through 'The Zion Curtain'. It's either the pants, or Dave's great personality and attitude.
  18. Art, I just looked at the PCMR webcams and all I can say is, WOW! Snowbasin is crowded also, but your new home mountain brings a whole new definition to 'being a zoo'. Maybe by next week it will thin out at the Utah resorts. Here's hoping to that.
  19. Dave looking very stylish carving it up. But where's the fog? I guess Grand Targhee does get sunshine and blue skies!
  20. Looking at Art's pictures and your pic's Bryan makes me know that I am "not worthy". Awesome carving, hopefully one day I will be there. Keep posting Art, it motivates me to be better!
  21. Nice form and photos Art. Looks like you broke out "Mr. Flaccid" for your riding enjoyment at PCMR. Wish the runs at Snowbasin were that empty! Keep posting updates, the conditions there keep looking better all the time.
