OMG, how’s the wallet?

More importantly, are you married?!?  How did you lay the groundwork for getting that accepted?  I’m already sweating and conniving how I’m going to justify a new Virus next year!

After having to cancel my 2020 build with Bruce due to not working, my Coiler Contra finally was built.  Contra 166 x 19.5 x 10.5 scr.  Based off of the 2020 build with added torsional stiffness per Bruce.

@Jcar  Trying to figure out options for my soon to be built Coiler - was this a gloss or carbonium topsheet?  If the latter, could you post a close up shot of part of the logo?

On the left, without bindings, the Coiler Asmocarve 173 with extra rubber.

Radius 11.5m

I was lazy to find a new topsheet so I reused the one from the Nirvana Energy T4.

Both boards have almost the same specs but they do offer a completely different riding experience.

I've limited experience riding a plate but the Asmocarve is the the closest thing of riding a plate, it's like riding a plate without a plate.

Thanks Bruce!

Yes I have the Carbonium top sheet.  Hope this helps.

Thanks @Jcar, that does help.

I'm trying to figure out if the Flaming Logo will show well under carbonium - I'd prefer not to do gloss topsheet...

I was actually trying to hide the logos more than how they actually turned out!  I wanted more of a ghosted out logo.  The flames should really pop.

What size boots do you wear, angles?  I'm trying to decide how narrow a Contra to order.  I've got a Prior WCR 175 with a 17.7cm waist and it's great going edge to edge...  I've just switched to UPZ and the smallest shell size, 57/45° so no problems with overhang.  Not sure if I should go wider like 18.5 or even 19cm.

Nice buys! I noticed that almost all the women and absolutely all of the men in the PGS events at Beijing were using these boots so they must be good. I was wondering what boots they were, and this answers that question.

The heated boot bag is great and strikes me as something I can make myself, it would plug into the 12V system in my truck.

Got a few things last year, which will be put to use in the coming months. Couple of not new things in there, too.

All mountain stuff: a secret board, carbon things to put bindings on, softer boots with softer top strap and a few different springs.

Carvey stuff: an all round size board, a bigger board, a plate, stiffer boots.

Other stuff: heated boot bag, new knees, couple of bindings. Zip fits will get rotated between boots.

Few things not pictured: an sg sleeve for moving between mountains, hope it doesn't delam, a new helmet, because I wanted to keep matching helmets with @slapos and a hydration pack so I can sweat profusely while only risking minor dehydration.

IMHO, race carving is really hardcore slarving and quite different from free carving and different equipment may apply.
