  1. I am moving a short distance from Ski Sundown so I will be there more than likely during week nights. I was thinking about getting a night pass for Mohawk and ride there like I used to but it doesn't really make sense to drive past Ski Sundown and have to travel another 30min. to get to Mohawk. The terrain is superior at Mohawk though...

Berkshire East is scheduled to open tomorrow! Hopefully this is a great season with lots of fresh snow, grippy cord, and friendly familiar faces. Hope to see you there!
  3. @xcxre9 sounds like a deal! We usually don't carry many bottles and cans but we usually have Kent Falls on our 24 tap draft tower. Right now we have their imperial stout 'Candy Cap' and their pale ale 'Air Guitar At Work'. You can check out our current draft list and what's on deck at our website or at beermenus.com. Let me know what strikes your fancy and I'll hook you up. If I get some good samples from reps between now and then I'll save you some.
  4. I will take them! Send PayPal quote with shipping costs to ZIP CODE 06001to: acepha at gmail dot com
  5. Cool graphics that matched her racing suit of memory serves correctly. If I had the funds I would buy this board ASAP!
  6. Anyone planning to get some new gear this year? If so, what do you have planned?

    Yo Lci!!

Anyone here make it to Wolf Creek today?
  8. I feel like have ridden many days where it looks like this. Everything black and white with zero snow definition.
  9. Nice shoot and great riding. 3:06 your slow motion software bugs out a little.
  10. My package of replacement Fintec internals arrived yesterday as well. Forgot to order lugs for bails so there will be another order placed soon so I can have all the necessary replacement parts needed to save a day of carving. Very glad to see Bomber back up again!
  11. Pretty sure Oxess uses custom designed autoclaves exclusively to press their boards. There are other pics floating around showing them in use and what not.
  12. Checking the online store now and there is a link that takes you to a form for an email blast when the site goes live. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfW7OvCZLJHWw-CCKX9pPKlmqi9k1ctMbXbToS70HLRI8V0QQ/viewform
  13. Technically speaking I believe any board under 14cm at the waist is classified as a skwal while everything over would be classified as a snowboard. Purist skwal enthusiats will say that a skwal should be ridden with no binding angles. I myself usually have a very slight angle on my bindings. I also ride with a wide stance, which purists would argue against. I had a day this past season where I did some binding adjustments and had too much angle on the front binding and I certainly noticed that something wasn't right both while carving and skating with one foot in.
  14. Found at last! Pure Boarding Japan Facebook, June 2015. I just sent a message to find out more about the process used, stay tuned for response. From the Pure Boarding Japan Facebook site: "Since the sole will melt in the heat of friction, it will paste a stainless steel sole. In Hotwax without, we can improve the slip blowing the silicon spray to the sole. Edge angle. sole is -2 to -6. Side is 86." I saw a picture once of some skis that had a metal base versus just strips like this board. I'll try looking for it again but searching for 'skis with metal edge/base' or anything similar turns up generic info about ski construction and edges.
  15. @monodude uncovered a stash in Colorado a few years back. The old ones turn up every now and again on eBay and other areas. They are rare finds, so when you see one you should jump at it. Finding them often takes persistence. They are fun boards, I would highly recommend everyone to try it at least one full day. There are new boards available today from a few different manufacturers.

  17. If you can't wait to ride schedule a trip to ride over the summer. Plenty of places to ride. I highly recommend Portillo, Chile.
  18. Way to go @forrest ! Did you acquire the manufacturing side of Bomber too or just the stock and E-commerce side of the business?
  19. If you haven't already read about it, Donek has a stock of them. Give them a shout!
