I am still pretty new to this alpine stuff. Been boarding for 10+ years. Learned on an old Hooger Booger in hard boots. I know there are better boards out there, and that Asym. boards are pretty much out. I don't have the money to drop on a $300 board, plus the ski areas around here are more like big hills than mountains. I guess the only reason why I would want to mount bindings on it is just to see how it rides. Compare it to the other Banana that I have. Compare it to the PJ. I am sure that once I buy a 'REAL' carving board, that I will see the light. But, I think I will go retro for now...:D BTW...thanks for all the input guys. I am still new here and don't know many people. Thanks again!

Ya, I would need to have to go to a shop and have it done. $50 isn't too bad, I don't think I would spend more than that though. Do you think they would have a hard time with an Asym. board? Am I right about those circles being where the bindings SHOULD be? Rob - it might end up on the wall...:D

Ya, I understand that. Its just that the board is so cheap(>$30), and I just got another Crazy Banana that had holes drilled. Its more fun than anything. Just want to make sure the price tag is worth the fun...

I am looking at an old board on the internet. An old Crazy Banana Race .5Narrow As you can see from this pic there are NO hole drilled for bindings? Is it possible to have new holes drilled? Is it expensive? *I assume the new binding holes should be over those black/white checked circles...no?

Why? Ya, I know its old, but it is pretty fun and it turns heads...a good first board to get into carving...only $81 with bindings and boots(that fit!). I want to get a serious carving board, but the terrain around here isn't worthy. Plus I don't have the cash.

I usually don't go Sunday's because of the short hours. I'll let you know. What kind of board are you getting? I am expecting a Crazy Banana in the near future...

I just bought my PJ on Ebay for $81...and it had boots that fit! Still getting used to it. Should I consider other boards? BTW...bought a Crazy Banana on Ebay for $30...
