  1. From another thread. Virus Beserker Zylon.
  2. Looks kinda cool, but it also looks like someone took a can of silver spray paint to your board. Not the prettiest Virus I've seen. I think the best looking, in my own opinion, is the Virus with the large weave carbon fiber.... Can you show us a pic of the camber on the Berserker? I know a few people are curious about that. Why do you have 2 Zylon gladiators?
  3. Possible interest in the Coiler. Ferrari nut, so it adds to the desire. Wanna shoot me an email? acepha@gmail.com Can you tell me what exactly is 'a bit beat up'. Thanks.
  4. Nice vid! Like the tail grab there at the end
  5. I have always been a little apprehensive about getting the Intec Heels. To me it, it seems like they would fail easier than the traditional toe clip bindings. I have seen dingbat and queequeg both use them and love them. Can anyone else convince me to switch?
  6. Burton Race Plates. They have the toe and heel plates secured by screws. The Carrier bindings are secured by a plastic clip that is requires a coin to twist and move.
  7. It looks like there is going to be a few carving days at a few mountains. I am down for anything this year. I can't wait to see some new terrain and some new folks.
  8. No way on Wachussett :p A Mohawk carving day might be in order, could get some discount passes. I can't wait until that new lift is up and ready for the new season. Berkshire East would be a good candidate. Its never crowded, has some decent slope, and some nice wide trails. Plus I know someone who could get us discount passes. Either way, there needs to be more than less carving days on the East Coast!
  9. I am down for wherever even if it isn't going to be a Bomber sponsored event. We should plan something though. There are a lot of great mountains, you almost can't go wrong no matter what you pick.
  10. You beat me to the punch on the Plasma! Let me know when/if you want to get rid of it.
  11. Dang, the TD2 is almost too big for the board!
  12. Specs on both boards? You can email me at acepha@gmail.com Thanks.
  13. I am going to get a night pass there for sure. I do not go there much during the day. let me know when you are going there though, its always nice to ride with another hardbooter.
  14. Had to post this. Mohawk Mt. in Cornwall CT is putting in a new triple chair that will replace the Mohawk chair lift. This new lift will run from base to summit, and service the whole mountain. I am not sure if the lift is going to be high speed or not. Pictures of the new lift going in can be found here. http://www.mohawkmtn.com/CMX/?page_id=140
  15. Sounds like an asym! Sick board though, and that is a lot of holes. I wonder if you could mount the old Burton 5-Hole bindings where the hangl plate mounts.

    Cleaning house..

Great pics at that. Nice looking boards Nickie. Go for it King!
  17. Email sent about the 180. I think I found the board for my 'large' friend.
  18. Last season... Started the season off on my antique WFO 142cm Freestyle deck. Odd ass binding pattern had me drilling holes in my Burton bindings to make them fit. It was fun, but sketchy when going at speed. Switched back to the Morrow Freeride deck shortly after that. Went up to Bromely, first time in VT. Bought my first Alpine board off of Ebay in Dec., '94(?) Burton PJ 162 Goofy, EVEN CAME WITH SKI BOOTS! That set the hook nice and deep. Shortly after that I found this site and started posting. I met up with a few guys(dingbat, cail) one day up at Berkshire East, new terrain for me. After that AWESOME terrain, I needed to get a symmetrical board to see what all the fuss was about. That led me into buying a DEMO '98(?)Burton Ultra Prime 165(?). Hot dog, this was getting better and better. I was having a blast on the PJ, still do, but this really was on another level. This board had a lot of snap, but was lacking in the edge hold dept. Went back up the Berkshire East where the snow was UNREAL this year, one of my favorite mountains. Took it up to Okemo, also new terrain. Met queequeg there on the slopes.<!----> This had me searching the classifieds for something with some length. That led me to buy a Donek 175GS. Matched with a pair of Bomber TD1s and HOLY SH!T, this is what I was looking for in an alpine board. Plenty of edge hold, nice and firm but still damp(compared to Burton UP) and i loved the construction. The topsheet really is like one big stomp pad, great stuff. I took that thing up to Stratton(new terrain) and rode with dingbat, the conditions were bad that day, which makes want to ride this thing in epic conditions so badly. Sadly that was the end of my season. I thought it might have been extended when I saw TVR's Virus' come into the classifieds. His Terminator Carbon Edition caught my eye, and I had to have it. I needed to see what all this Virus talk was about. I was supposed to go out there to CO late in the season, late April, but it never worked out. Now I am sitting here with new equipment to ride, counting the days until the first flakes start to fall. Every week I hope I hit the lottery so I can splurge and fly to where the snow is. As for next season, I already posted that in the 'Goals for 08-09' thread. So yes, it was my first carving season, even though I only spent half the season carving. I went trough a whole timeline of carving gear. What do I have to say for it? ALPINE > FREERIDE/FREESTYLE
  19. 1) Get out to CO to visit Thor. 2) Get my friends onto alpine boards. 3) Get my girlfriend to actually GO snowboarding, and possibly carving. 4) Mount bindings to and ride the Crazy Banana. 5) Develop my binding idea into a prototype... 6) Snowboard everyday possible... 7) Make it to one of the 'Expression Sessions' 8) Meet more great people that are on this site. 9) Ride some more new terrain.
  20. I just got a pair of the UPZ boots. What exactly does this little mod do? I am missing the point, sorry.
