I think we have to define 'ripping it'. To me, making consecutive laid out turns, back and forth across the trail isn't really 'ripping it'. I would call it good technique, nice form, what have you. Being able to pull that kind of stuff out of your back pocket whenever you need to, at high speed, no matter the snow conditions...that is what I call 'ripping it'. Take the infamous "Hard Attack" video. Either way, its the driver that wins the race and makes the car perform. Do they perform differently, no doubt. Is one necessarily better than the other? That depends on what you are trying to achieve.

Those dates for Stratton sound like they might be doable for me, at least one of the days. I would advise people to stay away from Okemo. I don't think I would go back to Okemo unless it was during the week right after a storm. The weekends get packed with families.

Possible. I just bought an Ultra Prime off Ebay that semmed to be new. The board still had all the stickers still on the base. No wax, edges were a little rusty. After a tune, rides like a champ. I would ask the seller if they had any info that came with the board, since it seems like a shop is selling the item.

Rides a lot different compared to the PJ. Might be going back to the 'Hawk tonight. Thank you baby Jesus for snowboarding...thank you...
