  1. noticed an old message in teton gravity about letting go of the experimental performer for the price of a custom donek. i don't have a login there, but I do here. still a possibility?

  2. I have never seen this model Avalanche board before I stumbled across it. I would guess its for the 87-88 timeframe. It has no bottom graphic (white) and does not have the metal tip base insert that most of the Avalanche "ironing boards" have. It's 165 and named "Fun Slalom". Does anybody have any thoughts.
  3. I have no idea. Right now it's worth .99 on ebay:D. Make an offer. Keep in mind it's reg. I see the PJ in your pic, and the other boards in that pic are goofy.
  4. I'm Selling my Asymmetrical Board Collection that I've put together over the past few years. Reason? 1. I don't have the room. 2. I'm Goofy and the boards are Reg. It's hard to find a goofy PJ. I've posted them on ebay at this point. The Variplates on the PJ are in great, original condition. The Variplates on the M6 have some replacement parts. All Variplate hardware, but in slightly different colors. The Asym Air has some pretty cool cant wedge plates for soft boot bindings. I've never seen these before or since.
  5. It's 160. I used a tape and converted. Mark, I would be interested in the third strap. Let me know how we can get it done. Thanks.
  6. Here is a picture with the bindings. Three strap w/o the third strap. I'm planning on attending the "Legends" race at Donner (ca) this year (I think its on) and that will probably the day I try and kill myself on it. Thanks again for your input.
  7. Thank you for all of your responses. I lucked into the board. It looks like someone bought it because they wanted to get on the bandwagon in 88/89. They took a run, probably stugled enormously, and put it in storarge for 20 years. It's pristine. I can't wait to give it a shot. the serial # 190328982 Here are some pics.
  8. I have a Burton Safari Comp I (88'). It is the multiple color "zebra" pattern. I have only seen the black and white Comp II boards. Can anyone explain the difference in the models? Where these boards normall hard boot setups? Thanks for any assistance you can provide.
