  1. Did you know I am a DJ? Ya its a decent gig...keeps the batteries charged up in the Tesla. I carve 360 carves like its going out of style while going 60mph on my Rossi, no big deal. Send me monies and I'll send you video proof, maybe.
  2. Looks like it was built in 2012. Bola had a few of these 'Colorado Series' boards made for All Board Sports. Looks like it's titanal construction. I may have some pics of this board in action if I dig around. Great deal on a nice board.
  3. The first snowboards available to rent at Mohawk Mountain in CT were Hooger Boogers with ski boots. I got back into it on a random search for hardboots snowboarding around 2006 and saw the first Swoard video. That had me hooked and have been an alpine bum ever since.
  4. @pow4ever it's a deep rabbit hole to head into. Definitely very fun and interesting. I'm green at it myself. Are you looking at building a machine? My machine uses NEMA 23 stepper motors all around. Most hobby machines you see will use stepper motors. I have lead screws on the Z and Y(short axis) and dual rack and pinion for the long X(one of each side of the machine).
  5. I saw this one video of you and it appears you are engaged in a carve that lasts at least 10 or 15 seconds and carries you a hundred feet or more down the slope. How do you explain that?
  6. You should always be periodically checking every part of your gear. Complacency kills.
  7. Custom stamping on the Bombers.
  8. I got those from @dredman as they are for Montucky Clear Cut as well as ASB. Back when this was Bomber Fin had a bunch he would send along if you asked nicely.
  9. That's for the TD1. The TD2/3 has a different patent I believe due to how the canting system works
  10. Last time at Buttermilk I thought to myself one of these would make things pretty OK. https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/15-S-Willow-Ct-Aspen-CO-81611/68053008_zpid/?utm_campaign=androidappmessage&utm_medium=referral&utm_source=txtshare

    Mount Snow

Looking to get out on 1/4 with some soft boot friends. Looking like snow that day so probably not a hero snow carving day. If anyone is out and wants to ride give me a shout.
  12. @1978f150 this would be a good entry board in your price range if you are still looking for a skwal.
  13. 1. Grip it 2. Rip it Repeat as necessary.
  14. @1978f150 Welcome to the site! I just sent you a PM in regards to your search.
  15. Pak Mail ships with all the major carriers and you can compare prices between them. I have used them twice to ship bulk orders to Asia and was happy with the service. I am guessing between $100-120 to get it there.
  16. @queequeg it's a custom version of designs off openbuilds.com machines. 3 axis cnc designed for a router but you can use it as a plotter or use a drag knife or laser. It uses aluminum extrusions for the frame. The controller hardware is a GRBL based board, spark v3 pro. I have that hooked up to a Raspberry Pi 4 that runs OpenBuilds Controller. It was an unfinished project I got from someone who was going to use it for ski building, so it's a long machine. It took some tinkering to get it to a running machine. I still need to get it fully dialed in, make a spoil board and add some better limit switches. It's been a fun project to pull me away from the XBOX at night.
  17. What were you working on? I am trying to resurrect the Bomber TD1 Skwal and have been playing around with it on my home made cnc router. This is a rough pass shot on some scrap plywood. Teaching myself to use the machine and CAD/CAM so it's a work in progress. I was working on an idea for bindings a long time ago that used a ball and socket interface for adjusting cant and lift options, giving you almost infinite adjustability like Catek. The idea also had a central kingpin and shaft. Tried it once, it's stayed in the storage bin ever since...

    Mount Snow

Went out 12/7 and conditions were pretty good for what they had opened. Some thin spots in areas but they snow they had down was nice and soft. The lift line wasn't too bad and moved along quickly. Get some!
  20. This board will likely sell for what it's worth, guessing ~$800? Who knows really though. Maybe more, maybe less. $80 seems a little insulting when the opening bid is $200. I don't have any issues with members posting ebay listings.
  21. Seems like VT is currently restricting leisure travel requiring quarantine or negative test results. I guess only VT skiers at the resorts up there for now? I read work travel is permitted so I guess I can say I am at the ski area for work related purposes testing gear out or shooting photo and video for promotional purposes? Keeping an eye on things and hoping numbers go down so people can relax a little.
