  1. I’ve been working on one of my riding partners who works for our company for the past 5 years. Started collecting some beginner carving equipment that anyone who wanted to could try out. I gifted him a demo Donek Pilot complete with Trench Diggers and Deeluxe boots. He still has yet to get on it, but I am thinking this year could be his year. I’ve been hammering him with Japanese softboot carving clips on instagram. Send him BX board listings for sale and tell him to bump angles up to get the carving bug set. It’s a slow process, but making progress I think.
  2. @crackaddict I will be getting a care package sent to me from MCC. What are you asking for that Elan Explorer? Might have you hand it off to be sent with other items if the price is favorable. Thanks.
  3. Skwal. Narrow slays. I ride my skwal all mountain all the time. Goes anywhere and does everything. Haven’t had it in anything over maybe a foot of fresh so no experience with it other than that. Eats up the chop, rails in the slush, carves the same if not harder than an alpine board. Charge your heart out or enjoy a mellow cruise. Skwal.
  4. Well I must have jinxed myself because I broke the internals in my back foot riding today. I decided to just unclip the front and roll with it to not lose any time on the mountain because today was an excellent powder day. While I usually travel with extra parts for everything, I didn’t have the replacement parts with me today so had to ride that way the rest of they day. What used to be a second nature maneuver, skating around and even just gliding, was a huge pain. So awkward…like trying to throw a ball left handed. I always thought it was strange seeing other skwal riders get around this way with the front foot unclipped. I can see how it would be beneficial for a non step-in setup though to make clipping the toe easier.
  5. I think we should revisit the idea of making stronger internal parts. I was thinking about tinkering with metal casting based off the files drawn up by @JRAZZ from THIS THREAD. I ran some numbers for the parts to be made up out of different materials but it wasn't very cost effective unless you had a lot of them made.

    Mount Snow

Planning to be up there with my work squad 1/23/23. Hit me up if you want to roll with us, meet up to geek over gear or whatever!
  7. Some trench from the Corinthia Terrain Park at Mount Snow. Another visit due soon, more pics to follow hopefully.
  8. Having a few long sleeve commemorative anniversary shirts made up for the raffle and sending out some stickers too. Wish I could be there!
  9. I might know the chap, I don’t think he is on here. I might be trying to get out to Mt. Snow on the 23rd for some skwal action.
  10. @inkaholic SnowPros have the same issue with angles that the TD1 has. They are only adjustable between a certain range. If you wanted to have more extreme forward angles the design needs to be altered. So there exists two versions of SnowPros like the TD1s. I believe Thias had branded versions with and without built in lift.
  11. Those TD1s will not work. The standard TD1 is adjustable from 20-70 degrees of forward angle. This is why Fin came out with another model that has that bolt circle rotated to allow for more extreme angles. These bindings were produced in limited quantities and are extremely rare.
  12. It was $98 for me and my two children to access the beginner area at Ski Sundown in Connecticut 2 weekends ago. 2 magic carpets(one is only like 50ft) and 1 small lift. That’s only for 4 hours too. The following day Mount Snow in Vermont nabbed me for $140 at the window for a day ticket. I hate it that they can charge you full price when the entire resort isn’t open. I think I learned my lesson and will fork out the extra dollars for passes next year regardless of this season being low snow. Oh and Mount Snow also charges $7 for a PBR 16oz can at the Corinthia base.
  13. @DjulezD Do those Phiokka have a limit on the angles like the SnowPro? I may be interested in them for Skwal purposes. Could you also measure the width? Thanks!
  14. Jonesin hard. Not sure when day 1 is going to be either. Depression is setting in…
  15. I don’t recall seeing this new Prior of your in the New Board Porn thread? Be proud of that stick and let’s see her!
  16. I was literally just thinking about how you had that video guy at Highlands that year at SES and I wish I got footage with you.

  19. I wonder if @Shred Gruumerwill have any other fancy toys coming from the top manufacturers. Any insight on your latest experiments?
  20. End of season bump and price update. Feel free to make an offer.
  21. Correct, open to reasonable offers from all. Thanks for looking !
  22. Long story short is I have a friend visiting Squaw soon that may be looking to purchase a new to him board. He is a big guy with big feet and I know that something like a Hazelwood would greatly benefit him. This may be a long shot, but does anyone have anything big and wide for a softbooter that might be available? If so, let me know!
