Hi @Wolf I loosened the bolts so they're not putting too much pressure on the joints during the off season - but they're original. Must be the angle of the shot that's making it look "conical" - but again, original.

@dragonrider - I can't honestly say how many times the base was ground; I'm the second owner. I was on the Madd list in '04, then sold it later on (when I left the sport for the first time), and then turned around and bought this one two years ago and never rode it. It's in much better condition than my original one ever was after a few seasons on it, I'll say that. If I remember correctly, one can tell the year by the colour on the side (in this case yellow?)
