RoroSnow
I too jumped into the K168 train wagon..... The reason is that, like a lot of hardbooters here, I did want to feel how it rides and if it can be more fun than my beloved 11,5 fixed radius Donek REV 163........and the other reason is that at first, I wanted to have a custom made Winterstick or another Donek.... so why a Kessler ? Only because the shipping overseas from the USA to France is now way, way, way too expensive.... 25 euros for the K168 from Ivan's iCarve shop in Slovenia to my door and........ 350 $ for a Winterstick Alpine.....!!! My K168 is not custom but pretty close to what I wanted to be made by Sean or Rob Lu. Some tweaks are missing but well, this stock board shouldn't be so bad..... So I will report back about that board. Needless to say that Ivan's customer service was amazing !!! Really great and helpful....Don't hesitate to deal with him if you need to ! Absolutely awful snow conditions here in the Pyrenées, but lots of snow for some of you guys, so enjoy ! K168 report will come soon....

In fact I went the opposite direction! I was having so much fun on my UPM F Plate Rev 163 scr 8-9 that my K168 UPM AF Plate wasn't getting any love so I let it go! I kept my AF plate for when I can get a new K168 + UPM for ice coast ice slaying but don't need it! Enjoy your new K acquisition and let us know what ya think!

Can't wait to try the full camber to compare. Full maple sidewall Wildcard W camber. My shorter playfull board for the year. Different core and softer flex. 159 x 27.5 full maple sidewall. It's an absolute blast. Stiffer than you'd expect. Gotta be careful backloading with the complete absence of tail. Keep your weight forward and it holds and edge better than you'd expect and is really fun to carve on good groomers. It bounces on top of any rough conditions but it's still fun to ride slow and slashy with it. In powder it's a blast but we don't get much of that in Ontario

ShortcutToMoncton
Great stuff!! I haven’t bothered to ask Bruce where I am in the order, but I had a ton of fun on some mountain-biking trails on my old softboot board over the holidays…and ended up hitting a hidden pile of rocks, did a real solid number on my base & edges. Before I bother with repairs maybe I’ll follow up and see where he’s at on the new wide softy boards.
