Picked up a pristine WCRM for a bargain locally, this one at 174cm (compared to my beloved 177cm WCRM on the right). Sidecut seems to be 11m.

Interested to see if it rides considerably differently than the 177cm 2022 model @ 13m radius. I picked this up primarily for the bindings, but these boards are incredible freecarving sticks. Not sure if I'm holding onto it or not.

@BlueB if I recall correctly, this is the exact size of the WCRM you rode to death (minus the metal topsheet)!

Good find and cool graphics! Never seen that one before.

If it's a WCR (before metal) it would be 11m. If it's a WCRM it's 12m. Only the metaltop WCRMs, like mine, were 11m.

Ah. It's a marked WCRM that has been sitting in storage for years, with only 6 days of use on it. The design is identical to my 177, aside from topsheet construction differences.

I'm debating on whether to keep the board or not. It might be nice to have a backup since I love my 177 so much.

I wouldn't debate keeping it juar hang on to it as a backup.    Prior's future isn't clear at this point in time.    Been bought by another  group not too long ago but still radio silence from them. .    Hard to get in touch with them, they owe me a board for more than a year and know a few peoples that are in the same boat.

Picked up this early revision 163 B1 from Senna Leith. Kicked the tires with him as he had several for sale and brought it home for others to ride… may not keep it but was too reasonable to pass up

Cleaned up pretty well. Anyone need a nice World Cup bx?

Apologize for the hasty pics. I didn’t even know which end was the tip when I first unwrapped it.
Excellent build quality.
Purchased from Slapos, one of our own. Thank you very much, Lukasz!

Now that is a beautiful board! I'm jealous 😄

And I thought I would get negative comments about the graphics or lack thereof which maybe this is.
I will go on the record and state that I couldn’t care less about the topsheet graphics on a board. It’s meaningless to me. If I want a personalized or custom look I’ll use off the shelf or custom made stickers.
I am so stoked to take this puppy for a ride and I appreciate what someone posted about a front foot of 45° as being important for heelside.

Makes me feel that I’m headed in the wrong direction concerning size…a lotta board!

There are benefits to choosing a normal size, mostly around questions in the lift line.

I chose a 171 Tanker for this reason, might as well be a GS board.

Weirdly when I ride my 2m Tanker I never get questions in the lift line.  It looks like a regular board and I don't think people really clock the size somehow.

Yes, likewise, they often comment the bindings or boots, but only sometimes I hear "That thing is huge!"

Perhaps it is hard to percieve length when you're looking at someone's board in the liftline unless you are paying close attention?

I mostly get comments on the shape/width of my softboot boards. And of course, there's an entire thread for comments about alpine boards 🥴

Two beautiful boards! The effective edge lengths look pretty moderate, despite the overal lenghts. I'll be on a new Stranda Cheater 170w this season, which will be my longest softboot board ever.
