  1. Mark winklar has some of our boards, do you know him? Can definitely get you on a swallowtail
  2. One thing noteworthy on that one is the tail is a little different than the production boards that’s why we have it. It was in the wrong place on the camber block. I’ve not been on that one to see how much it changes it but I suspect that the tail will feel mildly different.
  3. We have a couple demos in the rack at winterstick, come try one we are at sugarloaf….. @Jack M has a few to his specs if you don’t want to mess around with an allflex his shape might be the way to go, the caveat is you’d have to have us build one unless you can get jack to sell…. “Winterstick has your back with 25% off proform deals. Pipe, Slope, Boarder Cross, All Mountain Freestyle, Powder — our boards are built to take you where you want to go. *Ready to ride and get your discount? Just email us a copy of a valid USASA membership and we will get you dialed in.”
  4. The commissioner is too narrow! The first couple years when it was the reintroduced timeless was as close to a BXFR as you’re gonna get… replaced mine with a BXFR and I’m happier for it.. wescott pro in kitchen sink trim? That might be something….. Stay tuned on that one, and, I did just sell my tanker 177…. Maybe it will be the “roundtail plus”
  5. well, the mullet is much more demanding and turns a radius similar to both. The TB is in a lot of ways a more conservative tanker but with the flex profile of a burton FP. Very firm through the tail. The truth is, if you like one you’d probably like the other.
  6. Doing the tanker was a hoot for me. Having had so many over the years and evangelizing them… then i get to be part of production for some of them… amazing. the list of boards that I like immensely is very short. But THEY are not necessarily short….
  7. The engineer was running banked slaloms on the 183 and was the only thin I saw him on all year….. in the east. It’s not pleasant switch but otherwise is a unique board, I was skeptic as well but the thing is a masterpiece in how well it handles different conditions with that absurd amount of taper but holds an edge well and absolutely rips tight carves. If you’re at whistler this winter I’m sure Seth would get on something. If you’re in maine for any reason we have a demo fleet! the biggest thing is all that taper and the nature of the tails might not be the most user friendly thing in steep crusty chutes. That’s a given for any board with that amount of taper though. In those conditions I’d go for a TB or wescott…
  8. My personal ride hasn’t been built but I have access to a pretty baller demo fleet….. I’m surprised you didn’t grab a tanker!
  9. I have some sidewinder step ins… looking for standard uppers…..
  10. Winterstick has some smaller BX boards in the demo rack, alpine boards as well…. They’re modern designs.
  11. So ****ing sexy! I like those boards!
  12. Td2s or 3s are definitely going to be more rigid but if you want to race that’s not necessarily a good thing….. if I were you I’d go with SGs. Pretty much my favorite binding at the moment.

    Alpine boots

Generally that’s going the land around 28 mondo assuming the size 10 is from a device … I have some head stratos with a new set of thermo liners in them…..

    FS: SG Bindings

Jesus, how much are they? And, with mine a set was included….
  15. That’s a rad air from another factory. We can’t go that big!

    FS: SG Bindings

Don’t you just need the heel bails? And, I love those bindings… finally got me off TD3s!
  17. Duuuude, I can’t do radial anymore. In hardboots I’m not super comfortable with the contra/thirst thing either but on softboot wide boards I think it will eventually become the way everyone does it because it does grip well underfoot at low angle very well. those side cuts combined with the decamber makes the things so much more friendly but they absolutely do take some time to learn to trust….. the big kesslers are amazing but somewhat disconcerting. The 162s and 168s are ****ing insane… some day I’ll ride hardboots again!!!
  18. Don’t be scared to size up with swallow tails! They’re all nose and even 183 feels like a 150 or something on hard snow. where are you? There are demo boards kicking around…. Well, I’ve worked this before so if it’s the human aspect I’m going to have my kid program my VCR as well
  19. Phil, the roundtail and swallowtail are good candidates for you… you’re a pow guy IIRC? Still not letting me attach…. Given I’m on a beta OS maybe that’s the issue?
  20. Zips work in most boots. I can help if you need but the basics are….. if you get a liner with less cork it’s a lot easier to add some than remove it……. If you run a super tight (plug) fit or have an extreme volume foot they have a model specifically for that application.
  21. @Jack M what’s up with the attachments not sticking? IOS 17 if that’s part of it
  22. Here are some pics from the process before they got clearcoat
  23. I have a set with one day on them! 29…. want them? Zips are the end all and be all for me… 3x the price but I can’t put a price on perfection! lol
