Hi Brian, Sunapee can be good mid-week I get maybe 5 days there a season.What you get at Wachusett is better snowmaking(smaller hill to cover) and a good group of carvers. Brad

Hi WhiteHorse, Wachusett has put up bronze season passes again $429 for the season,this is a weekday pass. If you have flexibility during the week this is a good mountain for carving on weekdays and I almost always run into other carvers. Brad

I should have said Wachusett does a very good tune but not great only compared to Ski MD.

I own a 163 and a 171 Donek Metal FC and the 163 without the plate could work for you.I also like the Coiler Angry quick if you want but also a fun board if you want to ride it less aggressively.

Now that SkiMD is not doing boards I have gotten good but not great tunes at Wachusett. They have a new machine and will do base and side bevel.
