  1. So I just bought a pair of the sigi bindings.. Are the toe and heel blocks and bails the same? want to modify them to be intec at some point. I learned not to trust f2 bails the hard way..... f2 is actually why I went back to td2s, broke a Tnut on the damn things
  2. I just snagged some SG f2s, hopefully I like them better than the f2 titaniums which I have issues with.
  3. K, now I get where you’re at. you want a madd 158 where I want a Kessler 162.
  4. Well, my point was that in terms of a softboot carver don’t discount it.... like I said, even a full rocker tanker does work better than most offerings from most vendors. and where this isn’t a full rocker I just shrug and figure it’s worth a try

    Sg Bindings

I grabbed them! Should go nice with my new socks!
  6. My first coiler, was a 190 that was wide like 205..... awesome! Cateks! Allowed me to figure out what I like for canting pretty fast. kessler SL, wow! Coiler BXFR, all the trimmings of BX board but with a tighter sidecut and a more friendly flex pattern. Goes anywhere, does anything and carves like an SL deck if I do choose.
  7. Ehh, only challenge I’ve had with the blunts is crust
  8. Well, that’s a sweet design. These wide blunt noses kill it in powder. Swallow tails still work the best IMO. combined should be killer.
  9. Ehh my kesslers and coilers have very little camber little bit of rocker in the nose. Have a rocker tanker and that works well.
  10. Who built that beast, you? It’s more or less what’s in my head for my tanker replacement....... you gonna be selling these?
  11. Don’t need liners, just shells in decent shape. Size 28/285.
  12. Ehh, I can see it and it does the job. Like I said, ride/K2 can get it!
  13. Yup, can see the metal so guessing Bruce has a source..... that or he uses multiple sheets. Whatever he does, it works.... well. Also, the ride timeless is metal, the 167 is something like 275 wide so the material is obtainable
  14. Sounds good, the offer extends to you if you wanna ride my deck!
  15. Explain! Pictures orit didn’t happen! BTW, at a glance thought that was an old Kemper or something.
  16. How does it stack up against a saber or BXFR? Can ride my BXFR if you want.
  17. Yeah, if you’re coming from something like old burtons. With el hefes or o drives it’s an insignificant difference because the heel of the boot makes contact before the hoop does anyway. Keep in Mind one of the reason I bought flows was because of that. In use, mileages vary and in my case it was the same as any other decent binding.
  18. Ohh boy! BTW, the loaf was painful today by the time I got there.... slowwwwwwww 45f and was waxed for -2f
  19. Assuming you are a decent skier.... do they work well?
  20. @Gleb get filming for curt, he’s getting up there in years, we don’t have forever. Right there with you.
  21. Ehhhhhhhhh careful there. They are similar..... but very different too. Kesslers from the vintage of my NSR I’d say are a little more..... something... my NSR is more playful maybe. The kess I was on I think was a touch longer. I think my NSR is a 180 or 182 or something.... now I gotta go check!
  22. Someone (Bola) said deeluxe has a plate binding they are gonna bring to market? Anyone seen it? Guessing they are showing it at the trade shows..... Links, pics would be appreciated.
  23. Word, pretty much just had the same convo on dig my quiver. A lot of folks barely know what carving is. A boot and binding combo CAN be too stiff.... been there, I’m not aware of any boots now that would qualify as boots have gotten better and softer in the right places. there were a couple softboot stepins that felt like you were wearing shitty ski boots attached to bricks. bindings have gotten softer too, the nidecker carbons I’m told are way less harsh than the old 900s for example. The part that sucks is you’re looking at $400 bindings $300-500 boots. that said, if you get a Canadian board the exchange is killer right now.
  24. Also, worth note, the nose that is on my board works better in crud and powder than other BX type boards I’ve had.... it’s 163 that floats pretty damn well Yeah, I don’t agree with that calculator! If you were here I’d let you try my boards. in an 11 or 11.5 I don’t like anything less than 27
