  1. Yeah, I can tell you my Kessler SL certainly can be opened up at the end of the turn. So long radius in rear might be the case Someday I’ll get a freeccarver from him, as that board isn’t always pleasant for freeriding around on but is insane when you lay into it. The hangls don’t help, me being waaaay out of shape doesn’t either.
  2. This one is my kid chasing utility stick, next one will be more what I tend to like which is close to 180
  3. Yeah, still it sounds there’s something a little different to kessler geometry. Way back rode a few and still own one, they are just different. Some of Palmer softboot boards had that Kessler magic in ‘em too. Sounding like they STILL have some special sauce not found elsewhere. Can anyone explain what he does different? I know I like it but there’s never been much of explanation that I’ve seen. Other than the Palm said it feels like flying.
  4. 163...... 27.5 waist! NO MORE DRAG! This this is pure sex, might be the tanker killer in bigger sizes, we will see!
  5. Doesn’t bother me if I never have it in hand.
  6. Correct, that’s why it’s gonna go to someone for a fair price! That’s fine with me, if I win it we can work it out that if y’all pay me what I win it for we can just ship it to another charity type thing. Kinda a cool idea that a board would travel around doing solids for kids.
  7. Neil, I bid it up to what I knew I could recover should I have to sell it.
  8. Guys, bid on it, it’s CAD, it’s like Monopoly money for Europeans and Americans right now. if I win it, it’s either going to my wife or to the classifieds here. As I can not use it. Like the cause and I know what it is and the inherent value. Truthfully, I put in the bid just to drive the price up, and, limited it to a price where I know I could get my money back... Im a sucker for the kids.
  9. As far as performance goes, liked the 700s with the race tongues much better than the heads UPZ, can’t walk in them between the shape and lack of pads on the toe and heel block being so far inward. I have to compensate for the ramp or something end up changing my toe lift which I don’t like having to deal with. This is where I’d love bomber can’t thats less than 3 degrees. with all those things the boots Are a little bit of a fitting and tuning problem for me but once they are dialed they work really well.
  10. Head is the best fit for me, UPZ has plenty of plastic I’d think you’d be able to blow those way way out with some boot work. i have a mild bunion on one foot wear 3e shoes but didn’t need to blow out the shell. Keep in mind everyone with wide feet generally puts thermo liners in if they wanna make ‘em comfy. The deeluxe 700s are significantly wider than the other shell style they sell.
  11. Is it an illusion or is that an asym? god, so sexy, too narrow for me though. Someone with love that thing! Someone buy it befor I do!
  12. If those boots happen to be 285, sell them to me!
  13. Yeah, I certainly like plates on hard snow too. This may be that the plate compensates for my tendency to not push on the nose unless I concentrate on it. Reason being either how far forward the things are mounted or that they kill off some of the unnerving vibrations you get on hardpack. Hard snow is one of those types of things I really have to put my mind to dealing with it when I actually do that, it does work. The plate I think doesn’t so much improve performance in that type of conditions as it possibly covers up bad habits to some extent. Maybe just a pleasant side effect of the general nature of the things?
  14. Talk to me in a few weeks, I have have a 177. When my warranty from ride gets back and assuming I like my new coiler BX I’ll probably let go of my tanker. Like five or six days on it right now,
  15. So, since I got my el hefes I’m a lot less in love with the flows. the flows footprint deadens the ride in a bad way. They are still one of the better bindings available I’m not sold by any means. Also, getting in and out of them is a nightmare compared to a decent strap setup or even clickers now that K2 is selling them again.
  16. I can’t stress enough how much stiffer they are. this makes a set of 32s lashed boots stiffer than 2017 drivers and my drivers almost too much. But they are pretty new so hopefully they’ll break down a little. If there’s one thing about my fat ass is that I can break down a softboot pretty quick.
  17. Yeah, I lucked out that they worked alright. BTW $350 USD for the new UPZ foam jobs.
  18. Surefoot will sell you a liner. So will sidas if you’re in Europe.
  19. Probably you can, could buy another brand too, what you’d need is a set of hard boots to mold them though as I would think molding in softies you’d get waaaaaay too much foam.
  20. An update, this is the best softboot in terms of comfort I’ve ever had. By a long shot. Super stiff, that’s a drawback sort depending on conditions but also means a softer shell works and generally cheaper boots tend to be softer.... So spend $400 to save $60 on your next set of boots.
  21. Yup, my daughter learned today why I get pissy about not leaving early. She got to ride in the rain for a couple hours. This morning was probably good though........
