Yeah, to mold mine I did the hot water bottles in the shells inside insulated shopping bag. Worked fine. biggest issue I had with zips is you can move the gel putting the boot on that why they want you to put the liner on first but that’s a nightmare with some shells. Im guessing that’s a nice side benefit of a hot shell and liner that the bag will provide the stuff should flow enough that you probably could leave the liners in and it would move back where you need it in a few seconds?

yeah, look at all the knowledge here, good stuff. i liked zips and I like injection foam liners too! Some of the zipfits I guess you can add more cork sludge to them. I never did that.

I really like coilers, I really like kesslers. If picking stock shape and flex I’d probably say I like Kessler more. Bruce knows how to dial a board to unique need maybe better than anyone.

The td2 setup (this is a second board kit to clarify) has a suspension kit with it, will throw in any td2 elastomers I can find, should be at least two set. Cants 0 and 6 $65 shipped TD3 second board kit, new, unused. Yellow e-rings, black center disks. $105 shipped which is nice compared to the $140 bomber is selling them for at the moment. If you happen to have a second board kit for a BP plate, talk to me, can trade!

Yeah, got one, glass, don’t think I ever rode it, was for my wife she stuck with softboots and skis............ 172 21 waist built for 170 lbs. (she’s tall not round!) In other words, it’s new but sat in a closet since 2011

Injected liners in soft boots. I had done my UPZs with foam years ago, don’t like the UPZs. I have horrible issues with fit in most softboots. The modern thermo liners allow the boot and strap to compress my high volume foot. Had em on for a couple hours today, strapped in LESS pain, less numbness. Huge breakthrough! Didnt get to any resort hardback, just back yard messing around with the youngen but this is very promising.

Yup, mine blew up Ride is good about warranties so I look at it as non-issue

Sounds like you’re making a sintered base behave like an extruded base. maybe it does work? Maybe it does work to the extent that people who wax once a year like it? This is why extruded bases are popular other than the lower cost.

The Briko Race base medium, read that it was the shit here or TGR, decided to try it, it’s true, it is. Again though, not sure it’s better than the all temp dominator but it’s probably as good. I just don’t have the time to use narrow range wax anymore
