  1. Aaaaaand that’s the third forward lean adjustment doohickey I’ve seen on it.
  2. Pretty lost, any good, free tutorials around?
  3. Yup, it’s all about sidecut vs board angle vs flex vs speed. Slowest deep carves are probably gonna happen on my Kessler SL or my coiler BXFR.. the tanker will turn small too though.
  4. BTW, leonel will do a set of foam liners even if it’s not the ones he sells. Had this conversation with him in January. Zips are good too. Those intuitions I was yappin’ about in the other thread are likely the best in the thermo fit wrap type. Big fan of the intuition plug as well, that one works well where I’m looking for more volume, soft boots and anything that isn’t Head stratos pros for example.
  5. Tell you what, if you want a injection foam liner the UPZ liner will save you big time. Really nice too.
  6. Yeah, I like that aspect! Probably wide, sounds good to me.
  7. Okay, so, it’s a copy but with some very key changes. Looking at the shells I thought at first it was just the upper boot but from this it seems there are intentional changes to the Lower boot and sure enough, compare the mountain slope heel to the s5....... completely different boot. kinda seems like they are looking at it like they were trying to improve on it. Almost the opposite of what mountain slope did but started from the same point.
  8. Yup, BTS is the answer to that part(probably anyway) its a knock off of a knock off, How far is this gonna go? i can live with the cable setup I think. Overall it’s probably a good thing, at least it suggests that the Asian and maybe even European markets are seeing some growth. I’m not sure how I feel about the blatant knock off aspect but on the other hand if they are good, northwave clearly has no interest in the IP or they’d of gone after mountain slope. More boot choices at sane prices is a win for alpine snowboarding both in terms of the end user and growth.
  9. These are not mountain slope, these are Korean, $650 anyone got details? https://m.blog.naver.com/kimcarving/221174880720 Looks like they’re using deeluxe FLADs and RABs That part means the BTS will work..... largest size is 285, that’s fine by me, I wear 285!
  10. I mean the foam isn’t as goody as most of the other thermo liners. Thinner, but harder. more support than a dream liner for example about the same as the gold wraps but a little taller and the red panels are super dense. Pretty tall though

    Montucky LBS

Either giant balls or no brain maybe both!
  12. Yup, on a warm day I lost a screw on my O-drives the t-nut was luckily long enough that when it was on its way out jammed just a little bit of the plastic from the strap and got stuck at a 45 degree angle.
  13. Okay, so this liner is the stiffest wrap liner I’ve ever used. It’s tall (maybe too tall for some) and has semi hard panels that are strategically placed. Its a medium volume liner, with my 3E foot i may not be able to make it work in every shell but where it’s constructed more like a traditional ski boot liner it should be easier to work with in some ways. Only have a few runs on them but I’m really liking these. Next best thing to a zip fit or or an injected liner. Because of my wide feet my go to is the intuition plug with softboots, it’s nice to have another decent option under $300! The problem with the plug is it’s not that durable.
  14. From last year, 8-10 days on them, liners have one day on them as I put in my injection liners. Not broken down or anything, in pretty good shape. $160 shipped CONUS These are us men’s 11.5 (29- 295) will add pics tonight or tomorrow.
  15. I had one of the bigger models of that board, was better than expected! Was on par with the late 90s Rossi and burton stuff.
  16. Yup, it is. Movement is kinda exaggerated or something. He popped off a couple turns where he did the gilmour arm flutter. Made me smile.
  17. Eww, looks like a half assed version of the f2 riser plate they made for BX. It was made of rubber, heavy, was uncomfortable at low speeds, heavy, i was worried about longevity of the rubber, did I mention how heavy it was? all that said when you were hauling ass on them they really did work.
  18. So now you can either 1, buy a hangl 2, buy a vist 3, buy any 4x4 plate 4, buy my Kessler and hangl, and you have a spare board, rock board or whatever. The board has seen better days but the plate is fine. @Corey Maybe prune these posts regarding pilot but move them somewhere as there’s some archaic but useful info here. Not entirely fair to the seller, sort of a thread jack.
  19. Agreed, less issues, I can tell you this, a UPM boiler plate won’t fit that board unless there’s more inserts hidden under the topsheet which some do, I don’t have a board with hangl inserts that accommodate the first system which the carriers had no offset so you needed inserts for both regular and goofy.
  20. Are these the ones you can put the adjustable spoiler on?
  21. Idk, in a couple weeks I can tell you with mine but a vist is a sure shot with this board. You could sell me the board and I’ll tell you
  22. Yes, this is what I say, trust the boardmaster.
  23. Does that thing have hangl holes and what was the other one, vist? IIRC hangl is almost the same as UPM but the spacing is different BUT some plates could accommodate it some times. Hangl spacing it’s self can be variable. Have seen hangls that were set closer together than others.
  24. Essentially yes, powder rig
  25. That’s less extreme than what I was asking, he might have something from another shape?
