  1. The snow hose faucet has been turned on Full Blast, and someone broke the on/off valve. It has been on full blast for a while now. 110 inch base at Snowbasin at 5:30 this morning with about 10" more by 4:00 in the afternoon. More snow for tonight and tomorrow. Just like the late 70's and early 80's. Yahoo! Slow start to the season, but an awesome make up.
  2. Well so far the Old Farmers Almanac is pretty much WAY OFF for their prediction here in Utah. Started out warm and dry and since December it's been like back in the late 70's early 80's. We are getting slammed with storms, YAHOO! The storm hose has been on full blast. Snowbasin has a 108 inch base now. We are definitely loving life snow wise.
  3. I also love my Coiler Nirvana. But then again I've never had the opportunity or chance to ride a Tinkler.
  4. Welcome to BOL and welcome back to surfing snow!
  5. Looks like it might be a pretty decent step in system for soft boots. Maybe I'll try them for my grandkids next season since they are all softbooters (for now anyway).
  6. You should have an AWESOME time! We are supposed to be slammed Dec.16th and Saturday the17th. Bring a Powder board if possible.
  7. It's here now at Powder Mountain and Snowbasin. YAY!
  8. Howdy Buell! Looks like you are back from the land of Banned. Welcome back!
  9. Well it finally started to snow for real last night here in Utah. At some resorts it's finally starting to stack up. Yahoo, carving here we come!
  10. Where did you get this information? That would be Great news.
  11. Have you tried YYZ Canuck? They are listed on the links page. Hope this helps.
  12. I'm interested. What are the cant/wedges currently on them? I live in Utah for shipping if I buy them. Thanks, Mick
  13. I'm from the dinosaur school of riding, started riding in 1976 on rockered Wintersticks great in powder. Give me camber and Coilers now.
  14. Powder Mountain is less crowded. Snowbasin has steeper terrain. No hardboot instructors at either resort though. If you have your own boots I have a board you could borrow, 171 Kessler, and boots if you wear either 28 or 29 mondo. I live in Layton about 30 minutes from Snowbasin and 50 minutes from Powder Mountain. Mick
  15. It was dumping earlier this week, there was powder galore at all of the resorts. Still some places to be able to hit it I'm sure. The weather is going to be turning warmer this weekend so spring conditions will rule. All around it should be pretty good for riding. Enjoy it if you do come out here. You might want to post this on the Utah ride board as well.
  16. Just arrived in the mail today. I'm Stoked! Pristine shape, just needs a little Dominator to make it happy. Thanks for the recommend Ron and 2012Alpine1. Thank you Charles for such a sweet deal.
  17. Nice video, thanks for posting.
  18. I have a 171 Kessler built for a 150/155 pound rider. I would love to trade for Gecko plates.
  19. I just sent the bucks. I am very much looking forward to riding this board. digger jr, no worries! I'm sure this thing will be an eye opener about riding Big boards. And I'm psyched to get it on the mountain!
  20. Never been to Jackson Hole for boarding so I can't comment about the conditions there. I have been to Grand Targhee though, and it is a very fun place for carving. Just my 2 cents worth.
  21. PM sent Habs2c. If like digger jr says in his post, this could be an awesome board to ride at Powder Mountain and sometimes at Snowbasin. I'm sure I will love it.
  22. I agree with digger jr. And there is always next season. You will love riding in Utah
