Looks like the same pivot points with a different adapter to the board.

Apex makes the All-Flex mounting hardware - it has the pivot points out at the ends with the mounting attachments and bumpers underneath where the bindings mount. It was suppose to come with center mounts that are optional to reduce the amount of board flex away from the plate it will allow (they suggest trying it without first) - my package arrived from Apex missing the optional center mounting hardware. Apex has not responded yet to send the other parts. Thinking I will prefer it without anyway. Edited December 15, 2019 by skidad62
Jack M
@skidad62 my Allflex mount kit also came without the center brackets. I’m totally fine with that, the plate works exactly the same as with UPM mounts. It’s the same plate after all. I don’t think it’s really supposed to be subjected to that kind of loading anyway. Oh by the way, the big big brother just arrived... (168 & 185) Thank you @i-carve.com!

Well consider quality of their products and customer service( non existing) you are probably closer to the target than you think.Their workmanship is big disappointment for me. I will post pictures later but I will never buy anything with that name for sure.

The custom 175 I bought last year is the finest snowboard of any kind that I have ever owned, and Kessler was very responsive. 3 stock 168s, stock 180 and 185 have been top quality. YMMV I guess. Ladia
Well if this is a top quality we are probably living in different worlds. I tried to contact them twice. No I did not want new board just sent me missing letters and I will fix it somehow. Absolutely no answer. By the way world cap racers don’t pay for their boards. So for you guys think twice before you dump 15 hundreds maybe you should consider company which already know how to glue stuff together.

SunSurfer
@crote123 some closeups, from various angles of the JJA plate mechanicals at each end, and the centre mechanisms please. This model has been seen in distance shots, but up close shots help us to understand the designers performance intentions. This is stuff that should then end up in the long thread on the different plate designs. Edit 5th Jan 2020: Thanks for the additional top photo of the central plate mechanism. Neil Gendzwill
Good lord but JJA’s website is a POS. There is almost no information there.
Mr.E
Pretty sure it's just a formality. If you want a board you pretty much ring him and ask for what you want.

Having read some of JJA's plate instructions and setup notes provided to buyers in the past I'm not sure he and I use some words and concepts in the same way. A picture is worth more than any number of words for me in that context.

Mr.E
I took my new-to-me older one out yesterday. Good stuff. I'm sure the new ones are lovely. Are you running one of his plates on that, or direct mounting?

I am super excited and weekend doesn’t come fast enough.
