Sultan Guy
Yesterday was day 42 for me this season. I can get two more before my hill closes for a total of 44 days. Just missed my age of 48. :D I was thinking I need to have a goal of getting my age every year on the hill. Might get tough in the 60's! :)
BlueB
Oh, no! I don't want to make myself that old! By the time we are said and done, end of May, I'll probably be over 60... I'm only 42, though.
Emdee406
I'm ancient... 128 today and still at least 6 days to go! It is my main job though.
STP
Saturday was day 41 for me, but I am 47. So with 2 more days in the season I won't make my age:(. My son has done 32 and he is only 16 so he was able to double his age.....

pokkis
My days on slope just passed my age, so this is good season
grayontray
I'll need to retire before I get anywhere NEAR my age (60 this year-yikes). *sigh* I am working on that:lol: Sounds as though everyone has/had a great season. Cheers, Max
Michelle
I don't keep count, but since I'm so young I KNOW I have passed my age by now

Keenan
Yes, but I'm not so sure I can act my age in one season.
spil
Just passed 4 times my age... going for 5 or 6 times before this season is over! I'm hoping to make the magical 100 day mark this season. I know its just a dumb number, but I WANT it. Halfway through April, a 172" mid-mountain base, and more snow on the way. I love Utah! Gcarve
Halfway through April, a 172" mid-mountain base, and more snow on the way. I love Utah! I'll second that!! I used to go every spring, and it was usually amazing to epic!

mr3arnest
I'm reminded of bragging to my friend Bob who was full time ski bum in Colorado at the time, "I've got 65 days in so far this season! You?" He looked a bit perplexed, paused for a moment and said, "I'm not sure how many days I skied. I know I've missed 3 days so far." Sinecure
Last year I was sort of funemployed. I think I doubled my age. This season I just passed my age a couple weeks ago. I'm 47. But we've got until July 4 to get more days in, so no problem.
b0ardski
I'm reminded of bragging to my friend Bob who was full time ski bum in Colorado at the time, "I've got 65 days in so far this season! You?" He looked a bit perplexed, paused for a moment and said, "I'm not sure how many days I skied. I know I've missed 3 days so far." Fellow Schwietzer skibum Chris made 134 consecutive days this year; seasonal work is awesome. In 27 years of skibumming I've only had 3 seasons that I had less than my age and several years over a hundred. I quit counting when living at Alpental and could ski every day or night; This season I figure +/- 60 at 49yrs young.

ExcelsiorTheFathead
Just rode my last day of the season, and I've only hit 41, somewhat below my age. Strange, because I managed to get 65 days in last year. I blame the multitude of pow days that kept me home this season. I guess I need to get a better car for pow days and learn to ride something other than hardpack.
michael.a
Hit 2 to 1 on my last day: 52 days this season :)
Masahiko
I went just 60 days this season . Maybe I will go to the slope only once or twice more this season... I am 45 years old . I made it.:) The day before I met someone who went to slope approx 150 days but she was just 23 -24 years old !
tilledog
I think the original post was meant towards hardboot carving, Martin. Hards in your words, not softies. Still 128?
John Gilmour
it works out about right as when I was 20 I did about 20-25 in a turn (ON GARBAGE).. AT 25 I could carve about 35 (Checker Pig G6), at 30 I could carve at about 55-60+ (Madd 180), and at 46... with the right conditions... I probably went my fastest...in softies....my record about 65-72+ fully laid out perfect conditions on Ruthies in Aspen. I'm not sure a stiff race board could bounce around that much on the groom and not unset the edge. So I figure as time marches on... I just hope to be able to exceed my age in MPH carving.. I figure my body will shatter in about 13 more years. As for beating my age... I normally kill it with about 60-120+ days a season (this season was pathetic though less than 25-30 days on snow). Though as I would approach 60 I think going faster might be easier than so many days on snow. This was a lost season in terms of riding progression.. despite attempts by others to make it great. I think I need about 12 days just to start to get into the season...my bet is Christchurch in NZ has a fire sale, as does Tsunami stricken Argentina..and summer snow will be good. Hardboots this year... 1 day....due to boot fit issues.
