  1. T Tube deal fell through. Spring special up for any taker.
  2. Tentative buyer for the Tropical Tube with 3/17 pickup. Everyone else is on hold.
  3. Probably. I'm also headed to Whistler in March and could deliver to Vancouver area FREE of shipping charges. Another option would be to meet halfway near the border.
  4. BUMP Any takers on this T-Tube? Who can tame the beast?
  5. Sorry fellow carvers but the Prior 4WD has been SOLD. Sounds like I could have sold a few more of these popular guys. T Tube still available
  6. I have tentative firm commitment this morning for the Prior with plates.
  7. I have two boards that I would like to place at a good home so they get used. Prior 174 4WD SCR 10m with TD3 plates for $200 firm. SOLD This is the board I first learned to carve on and is a fantastic learning board for newbie or a great addition to anyone's quiver. Fresh hi quality basegrind last season. Unlike today's metal boards this is very light. lively and has serious pop. Tropical Tube 185 SCR ?-Guessing 18m for $100 I only ever rode this twice. My hill is not wide enough! Killer edge hold. Throw in an extra $80 per board for packaging and shipping anywhere in lower 48. Boards are in northern WA. Call or text 425-218-8770. .
  8. We splurged and have condo at the resort. Arriving by dinner tonight. Boards are waxed and ready. Anyone riding midweek?
  9. In Dubai on business and could not turn down the concept of an indoor ski area in the desert. In true carver methodology I went for first runs thinking (hoping) there would be some groom of sorts. I took the stellar Dubai metro system to the...mall. Yes, you must walk through a very large MALL to get to Ski Dubai. Just keep looking for the signs towards the fashion dome and go past ridiculous jewelry, watches, and badly designed clothing. Once you arrive at Ski Dubai you need to select from the menu. I went for the two hour deal which comes complete with a crappy Rossi board, boots, helmet, and weird matching snow pants and coat. Everyone wears the same red and blue coat and pants so kind of like a ski army or something. I had no gloves so used their free liner socks. Once inside there is a fixed Quad and an "expert only" tow rope. I kept getting yelled out in Arabic for not putting the safety bar down within 5 seconds of sitting down. Serious stuff here!! The snow was surprising good. Very dry packed powder and to my amazement...corduroy! There was even a ski lesson that was just starting. The run is about 200' tall so even with turns, its over damn quick, but hey it's in Dubai, in a Mall, in the baking heat. They play strange Arabic top 40 music to keep the ambiance local, and people in the Mall peer in and point. Like being in an aquarium or something. Was not very crowded the first hour, then a bunch of people came in to just ride the lift around and around like a merry-go-round. I think it must be a source of wonderment. There is even fake spruce trees and fake mid-mountain outdoor alpine cafe, complete with plastic rocks. Very surreal experience. Oh yeah, I even carved a few weak trenches.
  10. I'll be in downtown Vancouver for a conference and have two days (March 6th and 7th) set aside for riding. Was thinking Cypress.
  11. My wife and I will be at Solitude from 2/16-2/21. Planning to bring carving and my pow deck. Likely riding 5-6 days. Any locals wanting to connect up would be awesome!
  12. Looking good today. On plane with two snow weapons!
  13. OK. I'm booked at Holiday Inn which is semi-close to the Schweitzer shuttle. I'll take an early PU if someone has room Thursday and Friday Kram- Do I just ask for discounted lift tickets each morning? Tell them I'm NICE !
  14. OK Dan. Unfortunately I am not arriving until 1/20 Wednesday evening, so count me OUT. Is anyone else have space available for myself 1/20-1/24 Wednesday-Sunday and my 20 year old son 1/22-23 Friday-Saturday? Otherwise I will book a cheap motel in town, and bum ride or bus it up the hill.
  15. Possibly my 20 year old son for the Friday and Saturday night, otherwise solo
  16. Carver brethren- I will be in Utah for 5-6 days in mid-late February and am wondering which resort I should plan to stay at. Ideal would have some decent cross-country nearby for my wife, ski in/out access to lifts, great carving, and reasonably priced for a condo. Suggestions please!
  17. I just booked airfare to Spokane for Wednesday 1/20. Is anyone renting a house? Would like a room if available.
  18. Looks like I got my weeks screwed up and will unfortunately be on east coast the week of NICE 2015. You guys have fun. On the plus side it looks like I may get TWO brief visits to CO this winter for business and will bring along a board
  19. I ride regularly at Baker. Grooming and terrain is challenging for carving. Small snippets of goodness interwoven with crap. The powder is often very good and the crowds are virtually non existent. Slow chairs.
  20. Count me in for 4 days of riding, most likely do a Thursday-Sunday. Would also like to get in on the house deal. Wife will likely attend also. I attended the first NICE and have fond memories of early load carving at -2F!
  21. Looking for a short two-day weekend for my wife and I. Thinking of Cypress 2/15-16. Snow sounds thin. Other suggestions? Baker was very good today...for Baker.
  22. 2/16 Saturday morning Buttermilk first tracks :) Was the best day all week. Blue and sunny all day.
  23. Wow, sorry to here that. I was at Buttermilk all day. Where were you? Seems like a lot of injuries this SES. Wonder why?
  24. OK. I will be at Buttermilk Summit Express Saturday at 8:45
