  2. Good Luck Fin & co. We're all pulling for you. Anyone who has ever met or done business with Fin / Michelle / Bomber knows that they would do pretty much anything for anyone. This "Fund-raiser" proves that once again. If there is anything else any of us can do to help, besides the "Kit," let us know... P.S. Just like you can never have too many carving decks, you can never have too much "Buttah"
  3. Weight: somewhere in the neighborhood of 175 Condidions: Everything in Utah - which would be considered soft to most people! I have ridden the purple "medium" e-rings, and the new "super-soft" opaque yellow rings. I personally prefer the new soft rings - I can definitely tell the difference between them and the purple rings. I've ridden the purple rings on a little bit of everything. From a Liquid Race 169 to Madd 170's and 180's to Viruses. I have only ridden the yellow rings on a Madd BX, Rad-Air Lamm LSD freeride board, and on the Liquid Race, and as I mentioned, I prefer the yellows. Anyone want to buy a slightly used pair of purple rings?

I heard an interesting statistic the other day, don't know if it is ture, but anyway... It said that if you are being held up by a thug (whatever that means) and you have the opportuninty to run, you should, because most of the people who use firearms in that way don't practice shooting, so statistically they will only hit you 1 out of 100 times, and it typically won't be lethal. Kinda interesting......
  5. Remember back to Junior High? I remember constanltly filling out those 3X5 cards to order a catalog, or some such other thing... (Like a Burton Catalog.) Anway, you know how those cards always have a section to "send one to a friend"? Well, my Friend was alwasy Skully Henderson, at the same address as me... (All of my real friends would do the same thing.) That way, I got two of everything. In the case of the Burton or any other Snowboarding / Skateboarding / BMX / Heavy Metal "Catalog" I got, one was for reading / memorizing, and the other one whas to hack up and put the pictures on my wall... So Skully Henderson was a fictional caracter from my youth, and now Skully Henderson is my internet alter-ego (And my Hardbooting alter-ego too I guess.....)
  6. Fin has stickers, look here: Bomber Stickers I'm sure Hardbooter.com could supply you with some stickers also. Email Dave: dave@hardbooter.com.
  7. Mark, I'm just giving you crap about the tanker man... First come first serve. I've got a 192 on the way anyway! Besides, I'm sure if I beg hard enough, you'll let me try the 200. Get better soon!
  8. Where is that young man's helmet? (Though he rips with or without a hemet....) Jack, are you a bmxer? P.S. dirtbike? I didn't see any dirt in that clip.......
  9. You're the one who bought that 200. Lucky Sucker.... (I'm jealous....)
  10. With all the talk in another thread about Steepwater, and Tankers Steepwater / Tanker Thread I was wondering if anyone on the CC has had any experience with the Glissade Big Guns? Looking at the specs on them, they're a little wider than the Tankers, but with generally bigger sidecuts. Any info would be appreciated......
  11. Here's thier website: Tierney Rides Some of their dealers have demos if you want to try one out. They're definetely fun. On another note, I tried the balance on the yoga ball thing - dang that's hard!
  12. I've already got a few bikes.... Too many according to my wife. I don't think you can ever have too many bikes - or snowboards for that matter. I can't wait to hear what she says when I tell her I "need" a track bike....
  13. So what kind of gearing would a newbie to fixed gearing want to use? Man this board is bad. It just makes me want more and more toys. The snowboards are bad enough, now I gotta have a track bike. And the thread on balance boards makes me think I "need" one of those now too.... P.S., OT, who's following the Giro?
  14. Get in contact with them..... They have reps here in the states, and frequently attend Mountain Board get-togethers. You would be able to try one there, if they have on close enough for you to get to. They were in Moab Utah a couple of years back, riding them on the slickrock.
  15. Yup, they don't have all of their inventory shown on the "Powder Days" link. Call or e-mail them, and they'll let you know what they have. And another cool thing about the Lamm: Jet Packs!
  16. Harbooter.com has a few tankers in varying lengths. I beleive I bought the last LSD Lamm, but I think they also have a LSD Sappa available. Don't know much about the Sappa, and I didn't get much time in on the Lamm, but it was mucho fun for the few turns I got in on it...
  17. I agree with Todd. If you're looking into all-mountain soft boards, don't foget the Rad Airs. Tankers are great, and the Lamm Project LSD is great too...

    F/S TD1's

No need for a close up... It's easy to see in the photo that they WILL NOT work on a 3-hole pattern, as there is a very large hole in the middle of the disks.
  19. I don't think I'll be able to ride with you guys... I've already taken too many days off of work If you guys do want to ride The Canyons, you're welcome to the tickets though. You still have my Phone Number? Give me a call and we'll chat.....
  20. You should have let me know when you were going to be here.... I've got discount passes that are not going to be used before closing..........
  21. It can get busy, but as far as wide open runs, they probably have some of the best in Utah, and decent grooming too. The favorite lift for carvers is usually King Con. There are also some good runs off of Silverload also. Jump on the message board over at hardbooter.com, and you should be able to hook up with someone while you are here. There are quite a few people who ride Park City. Also, if you can hook up with Kirk, he can show you around up at Snowbasin. We spent a day up there during the WTC, and it was one of my best days of the year. Snowbasin has great carving terrain also. BTW, when are you going to be in UT?
  22. I've go an extra pair of TD2 Medium (Purple) E-rings for sale or trade. They've probably got about 10 runs on them.... Let me know via my profile email, or post here if you're interested.
  23. Unfortunately, it was the Department of Transportation who was doing this Avy Control for the canyon, not a resort... So no free pass... I don't beleive the dude who did it is employed with the DOT any more... I've heard urban legends about this happening for years, but this is the first time I've ever heard a confirmed instance of it actually happening. And yes, the DOT is paying for the damages to the home.
  24. I'm going to agree with slopetool. Look at the Rad-Airs. The tankers are great. Also look at the projects. I just got a LSD Lamm, haven't ridden it yet, but I'm looking forward to it. Or... If you could talk the Madd guys into selling you one of their BX prototypes, those are fun too....
