  1. Beaver Mountain is my home hill. The Seeholzer family does a fantastic job every season. I've been a pass holder there for almost 20 years now.
  2. That's a great looking board, Jack! Mark
  3. Question: What is the difference between a real snake and a 'ski school snake'? Answer: On a real snake, the a-hole is at the tail. Question: What is the difference between a snowboard and an upright vacuum cleaner? Answer: How you attach the dirt bag. Mark
  4. I read of his passing earlier this week and it brought back a flood of memories since meeting Troy in the late 1970's. A man of many talents and kindnesses. Plus, a ripper on a board. Any board. Riding For Troy. Mark
  5. Ready to ride that board again, Mick? PM me your phone number or do you still have mine? Mark
  6. Here's my son riding a Donek Relic 180-something at our local hill. Think: Redneck hicks on F1 carving tools.
  7. I'd be willing to buy several rounds of beers to hear a portion of this story. Free during this summer in Logan, Utah. Or Northern Utah. I'm not hard to find. Mark
  8. I still use my Rossignol SIS on softer days. I know that a lot of people made fun of it (PSR and others ) because it works basically like a screen door latch on the bottom of the boots instep area. Rossi sourced it from Emery and the boots and bindings have been used worldwide for rental shops. My boots are stiff for softies and have held up over the years. The biggest advantage is on pow days. I've learned to step-in on the fly getting off of the lift. C-YA! Mark
  9. I seem to remember a pic from many years ago, maybe one of the first International Snowboard (ISM) mags published it. It, the caption read was a Serge Vitelli riding in Hawaii. I don't recall if it said 'where' or not. Mark
  10. PP is not processing my card. I cannot figure this s**t out. Will you accept a Postal Money Order from the US Mail? I can send a PMO by 2pm tomorrow in USD and at MST. Thanks ahead of time.. Mark
  11. Let me get my PP account reconfigured and I'll take both discs. Mark
  12. TD2 Center disks. 4 Hole. I need one pair. Not baseplates or elastomers. X= TD2 (2 x 4 hole) I hope that makes sense. I saw your listing; it's for a baseplate right? I need a center disk. Sorry, the wine I had for dinner is working on me now. Mark
  13. ECC: Are your 4 hole center disks still available? What are you asking for them (assuming they are still available)? Mark
  14. When was your last x-ray by a podiatrist? Mine turned out to be a bone spur, they're quite popular these days, that had multiple calcified prongs. Had it removed this past January and it took a full 4 months recovery. Turns out, it was most likely from being the foot I used to push off when I skateboarded. Almost 40 years of foot-pushing. Mark
  15. This appears to be early Pure Carve crew members at Snowmass and Aspen. Ahumada, Cabell, Doyle, Munoz, Donnelly, and others tearing the heck-fire out of those areas. The boot of the day was Nordica SBH. One of the most comfortable boots you'll ever wear hard booting. Mark
