DO THEY HAVE ANY MORE OF THE 178's? If they do, I'd be willing to pay shipping etc. The 178's are HARD to find....

That guy rocks! I don't care if I'm riding / skiing every day, but I do hope that I can still get out and slide when I'm that age. People like this give me hope for the future... I've still got over 40 years of carving left in me!

If you're interested in any info on The Canyons, I'll be there Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and the following Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I'll most likely be working, but I could give you some tips on where to ride, and maybe take a couple of runs at lunchtime. I can also help with directions of where the good terrain is at Park City also.... Give me a shout.

Anyone Interested in a pair of "CB" bindings? I received them on a recently purchased board, and do not need them. Make me an offer if interested.

Not everyone gives up as they get older. I taught a young lady a couple of weeks ago, 2nd day on a board, cancer survivor, and in her late 50's. It was cool as heck. She was bored with skiing. We also have another young man who rides the same resort as I do, late 50's, Pharmacist who works graveyards so he can spend more time on the hill. He rides plates too. He was told when he was younger that he would be in a wheelchair when he got older becaus of a specific health issue. He's on the hill almost every day riding. People like these two give me hope for the future....

Once again... You could probably use a pair of Revloutions "ZSK" model bindings. I wouldn't want a pair on a snowboard, but they might work to allow you to use your snowboard boots on skis, as long as the skis are wide enough: Revolution Click on the "Z Interface" then on the ZSK model....

I doubt Home Depot will have what you need, but you could try. These guys: mcmaster have everything.

So Jeremiah, You want to share with us who your supplier is? Is it an online supplier? I wouldn't mind having a few extra bits around... I recentely started carrying one of these in place of the crappy snowboard tools that always strip when you torque them a little, smaller and more reliable:

I spent a day on a 182 last year, it was a blast. If money were not an issue, I would have a few tankers in my quiver, of differing lengths and widths.

Just curious. Who is runing Booster Straps on Deluxe / Raichle boots? How are you using them - Outisde the shell in the back? Riveted to the shell in the back? Run inside the shell, around the back of the liner (like the strap in the normal deluxe liners?) What about other kinds of boots?

I think that was Martin Drayton, If he's still at PC. You could get ahold of thier ski-school and find out. If it's like our school at The Canyons, you'll have to book a private with him to get hardboot specific instruction. I'll have to look at my schedule and see If I'm working on the dates when you'll be here, but I think I'll be able to get a few turns in with ya. Curt.

If Billy is in town, he's forgotten more than I remember about carving. I believe Dave is out until mid-Feb with knee surgery, or I could probalby also work with him...

Contact the ski school there and ask for a lesson with Sue Skeen. If you want actual harcboot instruction, you will probably have to book a private, and ask that she wear hardboots. She rips in both hardboots and softies, and is an excelent instructor.....

But these would work for you, and you could use your SB boots: Revolution Look at the "ZSK" model. This might be the only thing these are good for.... (the ability to ues your SB boots on skis, ski-boards, etc. I don't think I would want them on a snowboard, but that's another thread.)

Evile... Before you pop for som flexon's, post something over on the Classified section of your size and what your budget is. Someone may be able to get you into some Snowboard specific boots for the same price as you would spend on the ski boots. Also watch e-bay for snowboard specific hardboots, you may be able to find something there in your price range....

We'll plan on it. See if you can make it back for the "Wasatch Trenchin' Convention" I'll definitely not be working then....
