  1. Yeah, I have two original 58s, a 70 and the 180. I most certainly picked up the MK and will be doing some back to back once coverage is looking better.
  2. Gunsmoke at June is legendary for this specifically.
  3. How about an off-camber multi-sloped run, like Ruthie's? You could get to and possibly beyond 90 deg given perfect conditions and superhero technique.
  4. Choices choices choices.... The MK sure does have a lot more contact edge length. The OG Madd looks much like a 156 than a 158. 158. 158, 161 below.
  5. I tried but was told no and to wait until next season.
  6. I'm open for some in-person shenanigans out west if need be. Let me know if anyone is interested. Sorry, not too keen on shipping to out-of-sight at this time, but am glad to have friends ride these MILFs.
  7. Mammoth got 5-6 inches of fresh last night, so it's still going through at least Memorial Day this year, if not longer.
  8. How long have all of you run your shells before the finally give up the ghost? I'm on year 13 with my Suzukas, after 3-4 liners and 2-3 heels as those pieces wear out, but I spent a lot of time/money getting the shell fit right, which I am happy with now. I've been through two sets of Zipfit liners so far lately, which work well but last perhaps 3-4 years tops at 25-40 days a season. I'm thinking of investing in foam-injected Conformables or Surefoot liners, but am slightly worried about overall shell life. I don't want to drop half a grand plus on custom liners then have my boots crack on me. They physically look a little beat, but no noticeable cracks or stress marks that I can tell.
  9. I tried to order but was told to wait until next season. Any chance we can get a demo out west in the mean time? Mammoth will be open for another 2-3 months hopefully, and we definitely have what us wimpy west coaster call ice in the early AM.
  10. I just got into town but am only staying through the weekend.

pokkis can confirm, but the snow stix mounting appears to be asymmetric for regular foot. And yes the stix are there to allow you to stiffen things up a corner at a time as you'd like.

Joe, but it's 2m+! I'm out due to weight though.

Width? Will you ship to the US?
  14. Okay, I'll give them a look. We're thinking about this coming Sunday 3/20 for a cat or heli. I'll probably have to rent a powder board if it is deep out there. Question, but kind of unrelated to alpine boarding, where do you guys recommend demoing a good pair of carving skis? I am bringing ski boots along and will probably ski a day or two will out there as well to switch things up.
  15. Hey what do you guys think about the standard heli services right out of Whistler village? Any good? Are these close to being worth it at all?
  16. I do too, I could have brought along two originals to compare against!
  17. I'll be riding Fri-Tuesday most likely. Looks like some carving on Fri/Sat then some fresh after that? I think I'll only have my Nirvana with me but can rent a powder board if it gets real deep.
  18. Wow, bummer for me then. I'd be interested but my stubby short legs wouldn't work on a stance that wide.
  19. Is that stance width accurate? 58cm or nearly 23 inches?
  20. Well it was probably good we didn't try SNES last weekend as originally proposed. Weirdest snow ever on Saturday 3/5 (snain, ridiculously sticky, damp rain over 4-5" of fresh pow) and Sunday was 2-3 feet of fresh.
