We only use very high-quality materials. Thanks to the experience ofmore than 25 years in snowboard construction, Oxess builds snowboards ofhighest quality and durability. Race boards from Oxess impress with their high performance, both interms of smooth-running, carving characteristics and ice grip. This is done byadapting the progression of board stiffness and flexibility to the customer'sindividual needs by using special materials (carbon, fiberglass, titanal, rubber) and CNC-milled wood cores. With the TC (Torsion Control) developed by Oxess, the power isoptimally distributed to the board by means of 3D-construction. Thus, theseforces can act where they are needed. Ideal preconditions for top athletes aswell. While we use carbon as a top sheet for slope riders, since it makes theboard very agile and allows a wide application area, we work almost exclusivelywith titanal for racers, which makes the board Of course, we can also customize all models for special requirementsaccording to the customer's needs. Meanwhile Oxess is very well represented in alpine racing. Athletesfrom various national teams and junior squads in Europe, Asia and Americaappreciate the individual support of Team Oxess and the possibility to tailorthe ideal snowboard for themselves. Oxess hence, makes a significantcontribution to places on Oxess snowboards are proof enough. 5. Original 1990 Burton Kelly Mystery Air from 1990 for sale. Board has been used between 1990-2000 but stored indoors from 2000-today. Board shows some wear, but no big scratches, looking good considering its age. The aluminum (?) tip protection is showing some wear and needs a little TLC to reach peak condition. Unkown/unoriginal binders. Can be removed before shipping if wanted. More photos on request. Board is on eBay, but will donate the same % to this site that eBay requests, if buyer wants to make the sale here. Find the item on eBay. Price is negotiable. Shipping from Norway to US is roughly 60$, other countries on request.
  6. It's that time of the year again! Local h/botters gathered again for BBQ sacrifice to Ullr. Numbers were a bit down, due to many members being away. Never the less we had good time. May the snow be with us!
  7. To celebrate the end of the summer and approach of a new spectacular (hopefully!) winter, some of the Boyz gathered at my deck. We made sacrifices to Snow Gods by burning dead animal flesh and free flowing of holy liquors. (no dogs were harmed in this ceremony) Ride-on!
  8. My son started GS racing this year (He's 9). I put him in hard boots and found him (here on Bomber) a A145 board, and he has been ripping it. He has a great mentor who has been training him, and has made great progress due to the training. The issue I am seeing slowly creeping up is mentally, disruptions like this past weekend can play havoc with him and so I think (and have been advised) putting him in a more group atmosphere with team support might be the best for him. I am wondering if anyone has any advise on which mountains have the best weekend programs and coaching. I don't want to put him in school (weekday grade school) , but can dedicate the weekends and vacations as needed. He is extremely into the sport, and likes the speed of GS / SL / Boardercross so I am looking for a program that isn't focused on the park or freestyle. Any experiences and thoughts are appreciated, as I have looked at Loon and Waterville Valley, and each has there respective advantages and disadvantages.... Thanks in advance..
  9. made in Vermont, is this a good collectors item or just ride it? I got this from the gal in Nashua, all legit. Super model 174, in good condition. I was thinking , use as a powder board. Td3, might be a noodle, but its Powder, so just get down the hill? before it gets all chopped up.
