  1. Damn, that is significant. About 8-10ft drop in the last 10 days, and that's at the top! August will be a stretch.
  2. Mammoth is soft even at opening but still a ton of fun. A ridiculous amount of snow everywhere still with nearly 100% coverage on the open runs. Up top is still very deep.
  3. Fully agreed. Today was pretty awesome, particularly considering it is pretty much summer! I was just in a tshirt by the end of the day, but it wasn't even all that sticky.
  4. I'm about to head up to Mammoth right now!
  5. Mammoth for me next weekend and likely a couple more times in June and July. There are rumors that they might try to stay open all summer!
  6. I can't believe that catek.com is still up and accepting orders. Who's even paying the hosting bill?
  7. I hit June the week before and many of us just made it up to Kirkwood for TTC. Bomber themselves made an impromptu appearance the weekend after, however I don't think anything formal has been planned. I am going to try to be up there both this coming weekend as well as closing weekend.
  8. I'll be sure to try to help keep it alive as before. Last year was the only one that I actually missed. The first one, I think back in 2007, we had a full fleet of demos from Donek, Madd and Catek. It would be great to bring that back. Carl and Eric certainly support us there at June.
  9. This is great info. This might make my 180 usable again! I was looking into helicoiling but have been putting it off.
  10. Hi, beautiful board! But, a little confusion. First post says built for 180, then ridden at 200 then built at 160. I'm on the lower end of that scale. Can we get a clarification?
  11. Looks like SkiMD/Mike DeSantis is out of the snowboard prep/tuning business. I got a note from him today stating that he is only working on skis going forward. Big bummer for the alpine snowboard carving community! I'm glad I got my MK and latest Nirvana in through him before our time was up.
  12. Westin is very nice if the price range works for you. Village too, simply for the convenience. If you have a big group and want to stay mostly slopeside, try the Bridges condos. They are fairly nice and right on the runs by the Eagle Lodge side of the mountain.
  13. Center here. We get softer snow out west though so that might be why it works well that way.
  14. I had fun on some Palmer P02s this past weekend (has Kessler also printed on the topsheet). I believe there is some similarity to the pair on the left there?
  15. I ran into Chris/2Stroke a number of times today. Great to chat with you! It really wasn't prime carving conditions at all. When it was smooth enough, it was too soft to push it, otherwise it was chunky monkey all over. Fairly tiring slarving unless you sought the tree pow. There was one other guy in a yellow jacket that I didn't get to connect with. I might be there tomorrow, but on two sticks.
  16. Yup, June tomorrow for me! See y'all there. I'm assuming it won't be major trenching with all of the new snow.
  17. Pic. It's slightly raised by the white marks.
  18. Bruce's sidewall code is: T166 SCHTUB 08ND1 7.0+4.5 I'll get a picture in a few minutes.
  19. Hi all, I have a Coiler Stubby up for sale. Specs: Length 166cm Waist width 20cm Titanal metal construction Sidecut radius: 13.2m Weight range: 170-210lbs It has a few dozen days on it. Topsheet has usual scuffs and scratches, some from a little Vist usage. An early model Donek plate clashed a little as you can see with the two spots ahead of the front binding inserts, which caused a small warp. Base and edges have some small nicks and scratches but have plenty of life and no core shots. $300, which includes shipping to the lower 48! - SOLD
  20. I'm planning on being up at Mammoth the weekend before TTC 3/11, and hope to get a couple days at the main event afterwards. It would be great to prepend SNES to TTC in order to up attendance from the norcalers and potentially get the Bomber crew to head to cali early! I've informally chatted with Eric about this too and he's of course fully on board to support us.
  21. I'll probably be there, splitting time at Mammoth depending on the crew in tow demands.
  22. I'm having this exact problem too. Thanks for the tip. TD4 wishlist - spring loaded bails like we used to have!
  23. Let us know how it is! I'll probably be up there early/mid December.
  24. Thanks K. Hope this is a killer season for everyone. I need to get back on the hill soon. From memory, I believe there were only four original 180s ever made. I'm afraid to ride mine again unless I get it helicoiled or t-nutted.
