  10. Sounds fun! eajracing said: ....just dont let it intimidate you..... long boards with big scr's smell fear and will hand you your ass if you let them.
  11. Agreed so anyone can see it, the more visible the more likely for success!
  12. Rode the Superconductor at Big Sky... another amazing ride on the icy spring groomers and just got more fun as the day went on! Easy to ride, no funny fwd and back weight shifts or pedaling, roll it over and let the board do the work. Mark has really done some magic with his Thirst Boards. So many boards, so little time.
  13. Pm sent on sz8 123’s
  14. It rides much shorter, tons of stability and unreal edge hold...
  15. After years(maybe even a decade) of riding together and trying each other’s boards we finally agree, the WARP8R is a great board!! Buyers DO NOT BE INTIMIDATED BY THE LENGTH! You will like!
  16. I think it is the depleted unobtanium that Mark puts in his boards that makes them so easy to ride and fast.
  17. Bumpyride was Squashing it everywhere! Trees, thigh deep pow, groomers, tight trees very impressive board and rider. I might have to get a Squash too!
  18. Yes it was waist deep. Yes it was variably sunny and very comfortable temperatures. Yes it was amazing. Would have been better on a pow board... But a 174 Coiler Nirvana T4 Energy is a powder board....right? Yes I got my ass handed to me over and over by @bumpyride. Following @bumpyride around yesterday was like trying to keep up to a 10 year old all jacked up RedBull and OtterPops. He knows every snakey squirrelly bumpy steep tree and snag line at Big Sky. He only stopped on the run to wait for me. He beat the hell out of me... then proceeded to tell me that he is 23 years older than I am and has had a tripple bypass... So I guess that means I have at least 23 more years of riding! It was an epic day. Lots of laughs, great terrain, super deep snow. Thank you for sharing your super secret snakey, bumpy, squirrelly fun lines that you rode so effortlessly. Today I eat handfuls of ibuprofen and heal up for the next one... If any of you are ever at Big Sky... seriously meet up with Bumpyride... he will change the way you look at riding hard boots and what is possibly. He picks some of the smoothest lines in the roughest terrain. I was amazed. I will be back next week!
  19. I understand... my eye on a Superconductor...
  20. I rode 4 days on my new WARP 8R... This is simply the best icy, lumpy, crappy, spring, frozen groomer board I have ever ridden. As it has been said before, no need for a plate to make crappy conditions fun and very rideable. This is the most edge engaged board I have been on, set it and forget it. Even when I was set up completely wrong for a turn , the board sorted itself out and me and keep on railing. It really prefers you to stay centered over the board and do not pedal. If you do it will not really care but the best performance comes staying centered over the board. It also likes to have you standing a bit more upright and not necessarily super low compressed body position. Because of this it is a very efficient board to ride all day long. The Thirst design will really open the door for folks trying to progress their riding, there is just so much less to figure out. Do not be intimidated by the 185 length, it is pretty light and turns a medium sized turn. It rides like a regular 11-12m SCR board. The blend of length, flex and sidecut is spot on. This combination is amazing. With a little more pressure and board tilt you can really get the board to come around fast...good times! For the more advanced rider they will be blown away by the edge hold and quietness/dampness of the board, but you can also get springy out of the turns if you please. The construction and build quality is beautiful like we have all experienced from our niche builders. It is wonderful to have another board builder who is advancing the sport. Johnasmo took two runs on mine and ordered one the next day...
