The edges are crafted from the leading edge material on the Apache attack helicopter blades... The core has been tuned with special blend of cosmic, organic and inorganic materials....that I am not allowed to discuss... Should be about 174ish, 18ish waist and about a 13-14ish SCR... I have ridden DeeLux/Raichle boots for nearly 2 decades, thought I would try something different...reading your posts last year also influenced my original purchase of them. Things I like about the UPZ: Love the short sole length, Well made shell and great liner Slightly lighter weight, I don't think the Upz boots are any better or worse than the DeeLux...just different...flex and fit.... I think I was just having stubborn "old dog, new tricks issues".

UPZ RC10 Size 27 I have tried and tried to get these to work for me, I guess I am just too acustom to my old boots. So time for a new home for them. They have about 2 days of riding on them, just a few scuffs and scrapes but otherwise look great. Energetic Free-Carvy Fun! 178cm 180ish mm waist 52 cm (20.5inches) stance width (TD bindings on inside holes will get you 19.5 inches) 11.5 Sidecut Radius 165-200lb range (or so it feels to me) Super fun board, nice medium sized turns, but if you load the nose up you can really get this board to come around. No metal in this model so very energetic when you load the tail up. Very good pop. Very predictable ride and very good hold on firmer surfaces. Never been ground, some light scuffs on base and edges, normal stuff. Topsheet in very good condition. I am clearing out this one to make room for a new custom build.
