  1. Looks correct to me. Yes Walker is still around. Maybe try calling phone number on website?
  2. Three more from our EuroTrip.
  3. @Hug Masso I have been off the pain pills for over 3 weeks. I really do not like how they make me feel at all. They were mandatory to get any sleep for the first 3 weeks. Ribs are knitting up but still noticeable. Jogging or bouncing around both the shoulder and ribs ask me kindly to stop. But I want to get back to both bouncing and jogging so I keep checking. nicely, You can see a thin layer of boot fitter foam I stuck in there. Just helps with my heel hold down.
  4. @Hug Masso I will post some pictures tonight or tomorrow. Yes, always followed those directions. No problems. Making progress, but healing 15 breaks at once is exhausting.
  5. I have really normal feet and using the directions from the alpine carving site, I have been very happy with deluxe boots and stock themo liners. I do spray the liners on the outside with a 3M spray adhesive and let them dry before putting them in shells. This added little bit of rubbery texture prevents the liner from sliding in shell. Sometimes I use a bit of adhesive boot fitters foam to help hold my heel down. I can send you some pictures in a few days if you are curious.
  6. Chester Fox at Big Sky, MT is available. Great guy, amazing carver on skis, Skwal and Hardboots!
  7. Yes, you want to keep them! Great Boot fitting tips here: http://www.alpinecarving.com/bootfitting.html
  8. One of the most stylish and strong I know.
  9. Great riding as usual! The Tankers are so surprising, that one board could do so many things so really well.

    OneSki

Sean of Donek got to test out the OneSki from Mike Kilde today.
  11. Yes, quite easily! Let us know how this turns out with durability.
  12. Hardware store will have them. I always get stainless steel to avoid rusting. Sometimes the store will only have SAE instead of metric, so close enough will work.
  13. Donek Turner FC. It is available in your choice of spiciness! The ones in video were Mild 185 and Hot 174.

  15. A Marker Ampire. It now has a heck of a dent in it, it will be replaced.
  16. So you have been riding a steep Zinal groomer all morning (the one you see in all of the Swoard videos). You stop and have a great pizza, soda and lots of water, ready to finish the afternoon! You ride the longest poma lift you have ever been on, it even has a 30 degree turn in it. Take a cat track around the mountain to get back to the same black diamond groomer you have been riding all morning. Only your 10+ friends you have been riding with all morning at the top of the run. Carver B. and Chester F. drop in and get about 1/2 way down, I look around, no one else is dropping in, I get nods and drop in. I am not worried about getting hit from behind at all. Only our group at top of hill, very little traffic on that run all morning, so I am not doing my usual look up hill frequently (it was only our group I saw we I dropped in). Next thing I know Paul K is over the top. of me, I am very broken up feeling and wondering what the heck happened. I later hear that after I was about 10 turns in, a random skier that lacked skills but had tons of confidence, came past our group and started straight lining down the hill and collided with me. I had just transition from a toe side turn to a heel side when the collision happened. I shot off to the right side of the run into the un-groomed, and the skier slid to the bottom of the slope. Ski patrol responded to both of us, got us packaged up and separately loaded into two waiting rescue helicopters. I spent the next 24 hours in a Swiss Hospital. 9 broken ribs, multiple fractures of my right scapula and minor head trauma with loss of consciousness for 5-10 minutes. I am a little over 5 weeks from the incident and the ribs have finally quit being horrible, my shoulder is healing nicely and no head issues. It feels like I should have no long term repercussions. I am very fortunate to have been wearing a high quality helmet, to have been surrounded by such amazing friends and experienced high quality Swiss care. Check your 6 even when you are 100% confident that no one is a threat behind you.
  17. Walker is still running Bomber, he will be your best source of info. The threads showing is normal. The lugs threads on the bail and can be adjusted that way.
  18. Is it working now? I posted a second link and double checked settings on Youtube.
  19. Our first 2 days in Europe. More to come.
  20. Old but great directions for bootfitting. http://www.alpinecarving.com/bootfitting.html
  21. Whitefish is closest to Kalispell airport, Schweitzer, Lookout, and Silver Mountain are closest to Spokane. Lookout and Lost Trail are closest to Missoula.
  22. If you are a participant please check your email and junk mail. Huge changes in 2 days.
  23. @Ster if you are wanting a damp riding board ( easy on the legs and absorbs irregularities in snow conditions). From what you have told us about your riding, I would recommend getting the Donek Flux w/Secret construction 169 and the 11-12.5scr would be my advice.
  24. @Ster based on what you are saying I would go 11-12, especially with that length.
  25. @Ster how steep of terrain will you be riding? What level of riding are you at?
