The Alp is purty. I have a ‘94 Asym Air that I love. Don’t ride it anymore though.

Burton warranted my M6 and replaced it with a 1993 Asym Air 6.

I regret ever selling that board.  I had a minor mishap at Skiing Louise in ~1995.  Ended up inside the fence on Ladies while they were setting up for the World Cup.  Had to clamber over the snow fencing to get off the course.  Put the board over first, dug the tail into the snow, leaving it upright.  As I was getting myself over the fence, I watched in horror as the board toppled over and started down the run by itself.  Luckily didn't hit anyone but it built up speed and got airborne, hitting a tree pretty high up.  There was a bit of edge damage at the nose but it was otherwise unscathed.  I thought it was on the big side for me then and sold it not long after. Have always wanted another one but this Alp will fill that void. 🤙

No that's a top sheet..me thinks the top covers the Zylon fiber sandwich between.

Are you sure?  I thought it was the fiber, based on a closeup picture of the edge of the material you sent me.  Would be kind of an odd design for a cosmetic-only topsheet, IMO.  😄
