Continuation with Oxess and Marcel’s vision of narrower board @ 165mm. I loved the last one so much, I got another one.

Carbon/Titnal construction with shape of RG185 with HH stiffness.

Now, people can see me coming from mile away. Yes, it’s pink.

I can't believe it's not a Virus.

Also. Perfect timing for the new Barbie movie.

I like the specs, @yamifumi.   I predict you are going to receive a ton of positive comments about it on the slopes.  Now I’m thinking about the feasibility of low rider metallic chartreuse for my next board…

I can’t wait for the ride report; just a few more short months and then snowmaking resumes.  Have a great summer.

I got Thirsty after last season. This showed up the other day. Such a positive experience working with Mark. Several long conversations later and a short turn around once he started the build! His packaging is a masterpiece and superb craftsmanship exceeds all expectations! Can’t wait to get it on the snow!IMG_9035.jpeg.b73b8a907cc50d6cb135b45e3e13e518.jpeg

Congrats on the custom board @Waboarder.  That color pattern is one of my favorites.  Prepare to have your mind blown on the snow.  That’s what I was told; that’s what I experienced.  Can’t wait for your ride report; very interested in similar CC board for my daughter.  What is the sidecut, flex, and your binding+boot choice, including angles?

Mt. Hood is calling you right now…

resistance is futile.

CB

Its a FAF model , the waist is 27.1, not sure of Marks magic side cut but the flex index is 333.

I typically ride the Now Overdrive bindings or the Nitro Machine or Phantom carver bindings and Malamute boots, though I picked up a new pair of Deelux Edge pro boots at the end of the season.

I'll try the thirst without the Geckos first but for carving I usually use those or the Bomber power plates. Angles are + 25 ish rear and + 35 ish frtont. I rode with Mark about 8 or 10 years ago when I was dabbling in hardboots and chatted about board const. With all the rave reviews I couldnt resist ordering one!

Three boards that are new-ish to me for the upcoming season:

1) Stranda Cheater 200. I’ll be hardbooting on it. Picked it up used, but it will be new to me!

2) Swoard EC Pro 175 medium. I owned a smaller/softer Swoard a couple seasons back and I’ve been waiting to get back on one. Sized up for a 23 cm waist! I got maybe three runs on it back in May so it’s *almost* brand new.

3) Coiler Contra 173, 22cm waist. 10.5 m side cut for some tighter turns. Still learning how to ride it. Not quite new as I got it last March, but I don’t think I’ve shared it here yet.

Donek MK 161 with stock dimensions and stiffness. Can’t wait to compare this with Virus Terminator 166 with 17cm waist, my current board of choice for narrow, steep (and quite often icy) slopes.

Oh, and Donek board sleeve L size works pretty well. Looks slick, oozes quality. Right length, too.

I have been on snow this month on two www.rad-air.com Tanker prototypes (red is the 181 and green is the 201). Production 201 will be black and silver but just wanted to share that this new shape and camber profile is something special 😎🤘🏂🤙

Interesting, until last year it was a reverse camber but now it’s back to the sorta traditional camber.

I have a rocker camber Tanker 171 which simply wouldn’t submarine, could manage to go on 40+mph on powder. Would the new camber float just as well?

Yes, floatation is just as good, but with a little camber it now performs better on harder snow conditions.

Neil, we added roughly 7 mm of camber to the boards to improve hard snow performance.

no more rocker-flat-rocker

Since my rotator cuff surgery may keep me off hardboots this year, may as well replace the 7 year old freerider with this TB172!

I’m surprised you didn’t grab a tanker!

well, the mullet is much more demanding and turns a radius similar to both. The TB is in a lot of ways a more conservative tanker but with the flex profile of a burton FP. Very firm through the tail. The truth is, if you like one you’d probably like the other.
