  1. Something in burgundy with sequins. Maybe gold inserts and edges.
  2. 3" was just an eyeball number to run the ee out to the end of the board. Anywhere between 163 and 168 would float my boat. The difference in turn radius would be negligible in a slow initiating, fast finishing ice sled. But conditions considered, you yoopers suffer vertical, but make up for it in more width AND you have pastys. We get the elevation, but turning real estate is often at a premium. No pastys at Stratton. Yeah, so maybe shorter might be suit me better, but I'd be fine 167ish.
  3. Canadians, right? We STILL need a :dismay: emoji. Get out there and get that worm, Coreybird.
  4. We should talk. He's overthinking Tonya. Lop 3" off the tail of a metal XC, slap on the gecko-ish lido deck and get the Love Boat on some hearty northeast bulletproof.
  5. I was hesitant at first since the 8RW tried to kill me when I tried it, but its a .228 fi. My Super M is .347 and it was like "whatever, chubby". I think the non-metal Manana .320+ from what I remember and that gets ridden like Grape Ape on Beegly Beagly's van. At .395, I'd say go full agro on it.
  6. Comparing my metal Superconductor to the 8RW, with the Super being considerably stiffer with a much higher flex point, it feels like you SHOULDN'T be able to turn tighter, but you defnitely can. My kid made the same comment. It's a Thirst that actually rewards you for being uncomfortably out front over the nose. I rode with @Carvin' Marvin at Vail in February where he made the coment: "...I thought you were going to ride into the woods, then disappeared in a giaint roostertail and instantly exited in the other direction. Tonya. We NEED Tonya.
  7. I've been done since the last week of February. Work sucks. Weather sucks. Only 32 days this season which I s'pose ain't bad, but well below my average. Bring on the golf.
  8. Mine USED to make me smile. Now I can't get it away from my son. Now it makes HIM smile a LOT...
  9. Rumor has it a few of us will be there tomorrow(Wednesday) morning...
  10. @big mario lurks on the Southwest Northeast, in particular the "Mountain Creek" thread. Dreaming of the homeland I bet. And riding at The Mall... I check if I'm gonna be in a particular part of the country. If something sounds fun I have no ploblem inviting myself. When I'm in CO on a Sunday, I'm at Lovey with the LCI. I know the secret handshake and everything.
  11. I get it. It’s kinda flat, grooming is not that good and it’s overcrowded with retired Texans wearing WAY too much makeup. But why do I still have to prove it to myself and go JUST to be reminded WHY I don’t go? Are there any class action suits to get my $17 bucks back for parking? Stoner dude from Florida agreed with me on the lift, btw. I think it may have been Huey Lewis.
  12. Pork roll is carry-on. Can also be used as a flotation device.
  13. Hasn't the innernetz taught you anything? Pool noodles FTW. Amazon. Slice it down the middle and wrap it around the edges. Hell, you can even buy them pre-sliced. Or a Sportube 3. That's how we roll. United hasn't defeated them yet. Yeah, I know, kiss of death.
  14. Hate to break it to you, from a fellow 7.3M owner, there IS no compliment. I have a lot of sad boards that don't get ridden when my Super is in arms reach. You're gonna love that buttery ride.
  15. I had an excuse NOT to go this morning, which may or may not be betterer than going. Dogs had a vet appointment. I guess it's perspective. I've run out of excuses for tomorrow morning, unfortunately...
  16. Will be there tomorrow for a frigid mini morning sesh. I'll be the guy ripping it up, albeit in tears because 1) I'll be alone as @Mr Wonton has to "work" and 2) I have two more weeks till I'm back out west.
  17. I haven’t used it for what I bought it for, unfortunately. But it’s an interesting ride. Super light, deceptively stiff and can rail turns with softies if that’s your thing. Best I’ve ridden it in was 6” of CO fresh on groom. It really wants to float, but when you dig it hooks up nice. Wish it was a little wider. It’ll fly with me to MCC but most likely sit in the loaner because I brought a pow board for the no-pow kiss-of-death…
  18. Lucky. I had an Amplid Souly Grail sit for a month...
  19. How long did it sit at port in Deutschland?

    Yo Lci!!

Not as bad as WP. Can't count the times I've apologized to my board. Meat gate city too. Don't these parents think these kids should be in school? Cripes...
  21. ^ Makes sense. My MK was second hand so I can't speak to that. HOWEVER, all my other boards from Sean were delivered with a "Ready to Ride" tune and have been great. It's an option you have to check while ordering...
  22. Me too. If I could only figure out how to put a plate on a 5-hole PJ7. I wish I put more time into being a better rider than building a better ride. Barry and I have had spirited dialog in the past in pm's on making sporty boards easy on old(er) guys who aren't ready to admit they are in fact...old(er).
