  1. Why yes it does! Thanks for asking! Why do you ask?(DOH! I just got it!) And by the way, nice threadjack...Jack!
  2. That graphic looks so much better on a board than on Doneks web-site! Congrats on a sweet board! Makes me wish I had waited a year before I got my Donek Metal! All I can say is DOH! Here is a pic of my Donek board porn!
  3. I have been to a few ECES/SES and never been one to take advantage of the demo tent. Although I do own a Donek Metal board, and love it, it is one of the first ones. So with the latest leaps and bounds that board makers have been making, I would be interested in trying one of the latest Donek Metals, a Prior FLC Metal or if possible a Coiler Metal!
  4. I'm thinking about getting a new road bike in the near future and was just curious if anyone out there is riding the Sram Force and/or Rival double-tap shifters/group? I'd love to go with a Campagnolo group, but they're hard to come by, already spec-ed on a complete bike and I'd rather not get Shimano. Shimano, for me, holds the same feeling as many of us have for Burton. But just for different reasons! Thanks for any input! Ride on!
  5. The Raichle SB/Deeluxe Lamans series boots are notorious for stripping out the cuff/cant adjusters. I always know when my cuff/cant adjuster has moved when my boots start to squeak louder than normal. Might be worth a look. Just my two cents!
  6. Well, I don't own any Burton Boards and all of my Cateks are 4x4 & 3-hole compatible. So if you're interested, and if you own 4x4 Catek discs, we could do a swap. I can send you a pic of my discs and vise versa. Let me know!
  7. I thought all Cateks were 3-hole & 4-hole compatible? No?
  8. Man, beating a dead horse! ;) Jack you must be so sick & tired of the asym jokes! Oh and happy b-day Jack! Gettin' old, eh?
  9. Maybe I'll have to find a way to make it up/over there!
  10. Look out! The short bus is coming through! Donek Metal GS 172 seems to be working out pretty good!
  11. Shred is clocked in mystery that only a few on this board understand! Yeah Shred, what on earth was the drink of the evening? ;)
  12. Should this picture of me be the poster child of what not to do! DOH!
  13. Yeah, I'd love to come up and ride in Canada with you guys! But I can't say for certain that I can make it! It'd be fun though. I've wanted to get up to Canada to ride for a while now. So we'll see!
  14. Hi Ben, We meet up in the Sunapee Lodge around 8:30. When driving into the main parking lot, Sunapee Lodge is the far lodge near the Sunapee Express Quad chair. We use 1 of 3 chairs throughout the course of the day. The North Peak triple & the Sunapee Express are the 2 chairs that we use that you can see from the parking lot. And then we also use the Sunbowl Quad, which you can get to from either the Express or the triple. Hope to see you there!
  15. Pardon my ignorance, but do you ride with heel lift on you front foot? Is the camera pointed at you front boot? Oh, by the way, cool video!
  16. Scott, That was a nicely written story! But I gotta tell ya, take no offense, it's time to move. I couldn't stand having to call it a season mid to late February! With Jay Peak VT getting 6 feet of snow in 6 days, Bretton Woods NH getting 4 feet of snow in 4 days & Sugarloaf ME getting 27" Sunday night, It is time to plan that trip up to New England in March! March is my favorite time of the year! Days are getting longer and warmer! But not too warm to adversely affect the snow conditions. I'd say anywhere betwwen 20-40*F during the day and dipping below freezing at night! And the likelyhood of getting some good snowstorms to freshen things up are good! Good luck extending your season or enjoy the change of seasons!
  17. Dude...where's the love Man! Mean? NO! Mad? Maybe...look at me...I'm the shortest one of the bunch! Wouldn't you be mad ;) In all seriousness, fun was had by all! Love no crowds! Many compiments by many skiers was very cool! Mark, thanks for putting this together! Good terrain with good grooming at a great price riding with great people! Look foward to it next time/year!
  18. But I've managed to hit 52 areas in the US! Who knew!?! 19. Hi folks! I know I'm kind of chiming in a bit late, but I'm entertaining the idea of going up for the SQS! How difficult is it going to be for me to find a plce to stay? Are things booking up already? I noticed Ernie00 had posted some links for area hotels that I'll look at when I get home tonight. Thanks Ernie for doing that! Sounds like it'll be a good time. Hopefully I can make something work!
  20. Anyone going up to Sunday River to catch the World Cup races on Thursday February 26th? I may play hooky that day?
  21. put me on the list! I'm in!
  22. I own 1999 Raichle SB323 boots that I have stripped the cuff cant adjusters too many times. I'm curious to know if anyone who owns these type of boots has ever thought about making, or has already made the 2 plastic pieces of the cuff cant adjusters out of metal? I've even stopped by a few machine shops to get an idea on how much it'd cost. Let's just say I can get new boots for the quotes I've gotten so far. Any machinists out there that can give some advice? I've attached a picture of the pieces I'd like to have made out of metal. Not very big pieces, about the size os a quarter, but somewhat detailed. Thanks if any one has any information they can send my way!
  23. Hey, is too late to put my name on the list? Geoff, what day are you riding?
  24. If we get the turn out that we're thinking, it's going to be INSANE! We're gonna trerrorize the blue-hairs and confuse the jibbers!
  25. You know Jack, I was thinking the same thing! Eric, I've seen you ride @ Sugarloaf on conditions that I stuggle with, and probably always will, and you were rippin' it! This is a great topic. Like you, I'd love to get better at carving on ice. Sh!t, I'd be happy to get more proficient(@ spelling!) on skied off, end of day snow.
