  1. Hi All! I have decided to put my 04 Madd 158 up for sale! I've been on the fence about selling my Madd, but I rarely ride it! I don't think it suites my riding style. So, I figured it needs a new home where it'll get more love! I bought it new back in Feb 04, if memory serves me correctly, at the 04 SES. I believe it was made during the 2nd year of Madds' re-introduction to the market, which had the red sidewalls. Construction/cosmetics are very, very good. The carbon butterfly has never delamed or been an issue for me. There are a few surface scratches on the carbon butterfly from my boots. Nothing serious. I had Mike Desantis @ PTC (now skimd.com) tune it for me and it is still in very good shape. It has a few surface marks on the base near the nose, but they don't affect the ride characteristics. My guesstimation on how many days I've ridden it are roughly 24 days. Not many at all. I would like to get $375 shipped in the lower 48. For my Canadian Carvers, I would add $25 to cover addition shipping. Let me know if you're interested!
  2. That's the thing Bryan, it's not just for my aging SB323 boots, or any older SB series boots! The Deeluxe Track 325 & Track 225 are still being manufactured. And, I assume, are a popular boot range as they fit different feet than the Track 700 do. So unless I am not familiar with an update to the Track version of the SB series boots, a metal upgrade, for purchase, would be applicable to 2016 model year boots! Just sayin'! Not Flamin'! Thanks for chiming in Bryan! Keep 'em coming!
  3. So, has anyone come up with or know of any updates to the cheesy plastic cuff cant adjusters on the older Raichle SB series or the newer Deeluxe Track 425/325/225/69T? I've stripped/replaced so many over the years! It'd be nice if someone would/could come up with some sort of metal replacement pieces! With how long these boots have been around, and still manufactured, I'm surprised no one has done any R & D on a better solution. Bomber Outfitters??? Seems like a perfect opportunity to introduce a new item for your loyal followers like myself! I know I'd buy a metal replacement piece/pieces in a heartbeat! Anyone else have this problem? Am I the only one? Chime in people!
  4. So, if 1xsculler measures their foot and it measures 28cm, how did you come up with 30.5??? Just curious. Anyways, my foot measures 24cm long( or short! ), so I wear a 24mp boot. So 1xsculler, I would lean towards a 28mp boot, especially if it comes with a heat moldable liner ( Deeluxe Thermo-Flex liner, etc.) Just my suggestion.
  5. Hey XY9ine, I would love to hear your feedback on the Fullbag boards. I saw the link to their website. Look like cool boards! Jeff
  6. That...is an interesting way of doing it! Do you leave the liners in the boots, and put the high-temp bag into the liner?
  7. I have a question for you barryj : Did you ride you boots with the 5 position mechanism before switching to the BTS? What I did to my boots before I took off my 5 position mechanism is to put each boot in the riding locked position of each boot and make a mark using a Sharpie just so that I had a rough idea on how the boot cuff is positioned when locked. I ride goofy so my front(right) boot lock position is at 2 and my rear(left) boot lock position is at 4. So when I have installed my BTS, I have a rough idea on how to adjust the springs to mimic the boot cuff position. Plus, me being OCD, I measured the distance between the top and bottom bolt adjusters to make the tension the same between both boots to start. My starting measurement was 110mm. And then I'll start to tinker with the adjuster bolts to find a out what feels good to me. I snapped a pic of how my boots are set up at the moment. ( Sorry for the sideways pic!) And as everyone else will say, it's a very personal adjustment. There is no real norm. Trial and error!
  8. I find that the "Heat Stacks" don't work as well as an oven does, whether it's an oven at home or a good shop. I like how an oven heats up the whole liner inside and out so that the liner can mold to your foot AND the boot shell! I would mold my Dalbello Gold liners(made by Intuition) the same as my Thermo-Flex liners. Again, that just my 2 cents!
  9. Wow! Sweet! They are fully adjustable! What size boot do you wear?
  10. Hey Sven, these have the short plate. I believe these bindings will work up to a 28mp boot size, but I can't guarantee that.
  11. I just posted up a set of Catek World Cup bindings up in the for sale forum.
  12. Up for sale are some Catek Olympic Series 1 Step-in Heel Receivers and the matching Toe Bails. Came across these in my spare goodies box. Sold my Catek OS1 bindings a long time ago, so I have no need for these items anymore. Everything SOLD!
  13. I am selling my Catek World Cup Bindings. These are standard bail, short plate bindings. They are in good shape with no stripped screws and only fading/wear marks. The only thing that is missing is one of the washers for the center king pin bolt. Everything in the picture will be what you'll get. SOLD!
  14. Sorry for the delay in responding! Kinda forgot about this thread. Yes these are still for sale or trade! Let me know!
  15. So, I have been riding with a pair of the dark blue/black Deeluxe Suzukas for a number of years. I decided to pull the trigger and buy a pair of last years white/black Deeluxe Track700. Obviously these boots are nearly identical. I'll have to get used to the buckles as apposed to the rachet straps. Minor issue, not a big deal. But I was curious if anyone has used both of the boots. Are the Track700 boots going to be stiffer? Different plastic used? Will be finally getting out on the snow Wednesday to test them out! Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
  16. Hey Bob, I've not been too Gunstock in a LONG time and was thinking about going there some time! What might be some trails to ride? Any chance you'd be going there any time soon? Jeff
  17. Just a thought, are you by any chance going to the ATC happening at Aspen in a few weeks? I'm sure they would have boots for you to try on and see if can find your proper size. ATC dates are Feb 6-12, 2016.
  18. Ok. If you are a 30.5 mp, these boots might just do the trick. Let me know if you want them!
  19. Stupid question, are you sure you need a 31mp boot? Many people on this forum, not all of course, have ended up downsizing there boots over the course of time and experimentation. I think somewhere berried in the for sale forum I have a pair of Raichle AF600TS boots in a size 30mp. I am selling these for a friend who ended up being a 28mp. Just food for thought!
  20. Look at what I found in the basement! Looks to be 95-96 Burton Step-in Bindings! 8 screws/washers, 2 4x4 discs and 3 3D discs. Adjustable from 23mp-31mp boots. Micro adjustment for the toe bail. Aluminum base plate. I have no idea what a fair price should be set at. These are for sale as "more of a nostalgia item" as I've heard they are tricky to get into. So be safe and sure you'd be interested in excepting these bindings as is. SOLD!
