  1. .7* on the base edge and 89* on the sidewall edge.
  2. You can usually find a place to run and hide. In the late season it can get busy...like spring skiing stuff and season pass holders are trying to "pay" off their pass...busy. Nothing like the base of Park City between Payday and Crescent, that is nuts! If you make it up early before 8:30 you can get good parking and a few warm up runs on Musical chairs, when the lifts open to the top (9:00) trench all you can in the front and go to the back side when it gets thick with meat gates. You can almost always find a way to avoid the crowd. I have been riding at Schweitzer for over 25yrs and have never been hit...but I do watch out for myself! There will be quite a few of the Schweitzer crew at MCC, hit us up and more than a few of us will meet you at Schweitzer and show you the BEST places to carve. IMO it is a great place to ride, the steepest of steep groomed and everything else down to easy and wide. Even the beginner runs are great carving (Musical chairs) and you will find the locals lapping it in the morning waiting for the resort to open. Hope to see you at MCC!!
  3. Yes I will be attending Montucky Clear CUT. @bigwavedave forgive me?.
  4. Had a great time riding at Big Sky with Dave, John and Eric. Thank you!
  5. G-style bindings. They have a few different designs and offer step-in options.
  6. A good portion of the "crew" are going to be at Mt. Bachelor next week.
  7. Dan, those Tekonsha controllers have an accelerometer inside and can be mounted horizontally or vertically. The unit needs to be oriented properly in either case, i,e. not sideways. Normally there is a harness adaptor that mates with the wiring for your car to the controller. Hard to say how it was installed and if this harness connector is accessible; though it could be hard wired to the vehicle also. Getting under the dash of Subaru's can be a bit difficult and cramped. You could mount the device with some sturdy Velcro or a mount that could be removed, it does need to be mounted fairly rigidly to the vehicle so it does not flop around and receives proper input as you are braking. The original bracket is such that you must remove the controller via two pins on either side, then you would need to remove the bracket itself (I'd rather hit my knee on the controller than the thin bracket). It is best to have the device located so you can reach it to make delay and gain adjustment due to a change in trailer weight.
  8. Excellent idea. @Dw3 What Mondo size are you, I have an extra pair or two I can bring.
  9. Its a standard 3k plain weave AS4 640Ksi carbon fabric with a skipped stitch.
  10. Yeah buddy, trenching on the Superconductor! Thanks Dan for sharing.
  11. Coverage is very good. It has been a few days since I have been up (Monday) and it was good then. 129" top 73" base, 6" expected tonight.
  12. What about those of you that said you could not commit until February? Are you in? Would be a good time for those bomber members who have said they want to work on technique. The best opportunity for improving your skills is to ride with a bunch of carvers. Since Keenan is sharing Thirst snowboard demos for free, I'll offer Keenan's instructions skills for free
  13. Gloves with finger extensions will be the next upgrade.
  14. watched it...I'm much much calmer now. If you put your money on the red course, you win.
  15. So disappointed I can't watch it! I don't have any of the services available to sign in. F*&K!!
  16. Yeah, yeah....yesterday was such a great day of riding. Been weeks since I've been up.
  17. I hope it arrives too....Man! do I hope it arrives.
  18. Yes, those are the specs for his board.
  19. What a beautiful picture! What an incredible winter we are having. I watched you ride the FX and I would agree with what you are saying. I have never ridden that model and two guys own one, and say basically the same thing. The most noticeable aspect of watching you ride is you level of confidence...you had no hesitation in taking on anything and observing you weave your way through the crowd was like watching you have an out-of-body experience. Welcome to fun!
  20. I apologize to you all. I am respecting the decision of the forum moderators.
  21. I'm enjoying this conversation...wish I could join it.
  22. You bet Boardski. We will have a great time riding.
  23. Wow Pusbag, you're a hardboot celebrity!
  24. Order, order? Boardski? You must have been hacked! ha ha.
