  1. We are kinda going to be all around. Just trying to find some guys/gals to carve with. Brighton, Snowbasin, PC. I haven't been to Solitude since maybe '81, of course skiing then.
  2. What a fun review to read..."Close Encounters mashed potatoes", hilarious! I assume post-sculpture.
  3. I would really like to reply to this thread, but some might think I'm showing off, some won't pay any attention, some may secretly want to be able to do what I am doing, but most won't appreciate what I am doing.
  4. Yes Dan, he rode the original 8R WARP prototype. There is video (3 actually) on my Thirst fb page of Kram riding it. It's a long board for him, I have watched the videos over and over because he looks so good on it.
  5. I'm going to be in Utah (PC and possibly night skiing at Brighton) and will have on mountain dates of 19-21 February. Who's up for a meeting?
  6. I counted 14 on the first day, Sunday. Max, Dan, Octavio, Igor, Mark (Kram), Mark (Miller), Dane, Dale, Hayden, Stephen, Rick, Ryan, Garrett and Evan. Monday we had 11, One new guy (sorry can't remember his name), Monty, and Russ (pussbag). Now I'm on the injured list for today. The snow conditions and weather have been tremendous (for carving).
  7. Still have a few days left of NICE. I still have discount vouchers available. $54 plus tax, so like $70 Canadian. Come on down!
  8. Thanks for posting pics. Great job trenching!
  9. I will be getting lift pass vouchers in a few days. Before tax (both sales and resort tax) the tickets will cost $54 adult, $36 child for full day. You will need a voucher to get this discount, and you will need a voucher for each pass you purchase. Please let me know how many passes you will need, and what dates you expect to visit. You can send me a PM if you don't want your boss to know where you are.
  10. The BX looks right at home doesn't it? Kram sent me a text asking me to check a pic of Evan's set position on the BX.....was expecting to see an action pic. How did you get this pic Troy? Set position is correct, just the altitude at which is was taken causes a different visual perspective.
  11. http://www.schweitzer.com/event/north-idaho-carve-event/ Join us! We have the space to go fast and wide. Winch groomed steeps for you to explore your inner commitment. Just two weeks to go! Follow this link, and....commit, we need you to be there.

    Rogue 1!

I saw it Friday night. I enjoyed it. I'd rank it third overall, after episode IV, V. Ton of "cameos" was lots of fun to see.
  13. This is the kind of jamboree I like! Let us know if you are going to attend, tell a friend too!
  14. I have confirmed the dates for the event with the events director. Jan30-Feb3 2017. I am meeting with him on Monday to discuss the event as a whole and get the resort to add it to their schedule SO THE WHOLE WORLD CAN SEE!!!! I have spoken with a videographer about working with us, we are planning to get together and do some test shooting around X-mas time; he says he has a friend that is a photog I hope to talk to soon.
  15. Here, hold my beer and watch this... I'm not certain if I will be able to do an actual vendor booth, insurance is pretty high.
  16. Wow, that sounds like a cool idea. I've been talking to insurance agents all day and all I can think about is liability, lol.
  17. Thank you for the suggestion Keenen. I think the sessions are a good idea. Legally we (as in us) cannot provide instruction to riders, but we can give pointers. Will get a schedule together so all will know what is goin on and when. Photog and video is practically a must. What do you guys think?
  18. I am working on contacting Schweitzer officials about the carving event. The marketing director has been very responsive, just waiting for the events director to return messages I have left. Do any of you have suggestions for things you would like to happen? Vendors have been approved, PM me so I can get you in touch with the directors if you are an interested party. I am planning on having Thirst snowboards available for sale and for demo for those of you who need an incredible-new thinking-engineered ride. Stay tuned for updates, and tell anyone you can to attend NICE! The more the better. If some of you have not been to Schweitzer before, I'll tell you it is a great resort for carving! It is a modern resort with high-speed detachable lifts. Ride cruisers, winch groomed STEEP runs, and trees without fighting crowds. On mountain lodging is available with plenty of places to eat and a new day lodge at the top, that will be celebrating it's grand opening just weeks before the event.
  19. That is a great deal! Buy'em guys, come to Schweitzer and find out what an incredible mountain it is!
  20. None of my boards are traditional in construction, from the core to the shape...event the sidewalls on this board are engineered. Visit my website Thirstsnowboards.com, Check out some video there or on my FB page "thirst snowboards". Give me a call (left my number in the PM) I'll be happy to explain more. 8G, that's funny. Not a day goes by that there is not a "Seinfeld moment".
  21. The dates don't matter to me much. I still am holding out hope that I will hear from Jim Callen about my requests so I may be able to attend ATC as a board manufacturer. Seems that 30-3 is a better option for some (not the greatest dates for me to consider attending ATC though). I'd say lets pick 30-3 dates and eliminate that confusion.
