crucible
I wish. I might have to steal some sheet metal out of a dumpster and toboggan down the Sheep meadow hill at Central Park as a Plan B

crucible
B, what are you putting under yiur feet tonight? Me, I’m thinking about running a Prior FatJack 166, or my trusty Coiler 172 AM.
BlueB
I'll have either an Aframe or 3800, due to work requirements. But actually it only snowed 8cm so far, you'll be fine with either of the 2 you mentioned...
BlueB
It was actually very carvable! Nice heavy wet snow got compacted by the day masses, leaving not so smooth but very trippy surface. 5 instructors showed up for the carve session. Toy: 3800 with ducked up plates ;) I'm always surprised how carvy is the tail of that board!
BlueB
Another training day... Very hard packed, heard frozen poorly groomed snow in the early morning, started to soup up from 10am alredy.
BlueB
Nikita braved the drizzle and lumpy sticky snow for his 3 hour intro to hadboots. You are a trooper buddy! The rain/sleet actually stopped and snow became better as people slid over it... Visibility was good. We hooked up with George for few runs. The snow should be back as of tonight! charliechocolate
Almost as cold as Saskatchewan tonight on the hill.
nikttt
Thanks for a great lesson Boris. Riding with two of you guys was fantastic experience :-). Nikita
crucible
Based on what I saw yesterday, you’ll be just as stylish and smooth after a couple of seasons... it’s not going to take 10-20 years of practice like it did for Boris and me... Welcome to the tribe! Geo
BlueB
We had awesome grippy snow tonight, great carving session with instructors! It started to snow agsin arcabkut 6:30pm. Lots more to come...

BlueB
It's going to be epic. Apparently the biggest dump will be tomorow night!
Cousin of Beagle
Saturday was pretty good. Rating was 1-car. There was only one crashed car in the ditch. 6" freshies over groomed. Snow was a little heavy. Not as good as yesterday's 3-car session which had 18" freshies.
crucible
I turned around this AM after seeing the line up on the Cypress Mountain Road after the car drama... I’m planning to head back this afternoon after 4PM, with my Winterstick Swallowtail and a Prior ATV.
BlueB
I rode with Patrick all morning, mostly on Raven and Eagle. One run we did down the Boven Face before lunch was actually the best! In the pm i rode only the Sky Chair, that was great! No lienup, much drier and deeper snow! Toy: 4807 :)
BlueB
Today, the morning started with fog and some freshies, by 1pm we had sun and ride-compacted wet snow... First 2 hours were a freeride session, unfortunately all the black runs were roped off, except Trumpeter. We found some good stuff down Gibson and trees to the left of Humpty... Next 2 hrs a carve session... The green runs got compacted by traffic and very carvable. Fork and Maele Ricker to some extent too.
