I am the tiny little cast iron frying pan to you guys. I am not even the pot. Since I thinned the herd last year I am down to about 15 - pppfffft.. Hardly worth counting. heroshmero
Finally got around to ordering a Custom Freeride from Donek. I also picked up an FC Metal demo at the same time. I'm stoked. The Freeride was a collaboration between myself and Sean. The biggest need was to make it really wide as I have a big foot and like to ride all mountain at low binding angles. The overall profile of the board looks rad and the pics don't show how awesome the topsheet looks in person. It was really fun to work out the details like adding the decambered tip and tail to it with Sean. I can wait to ride it! Freeride specs: 174cm long 30cm waist 10.4m sidecut 10/11 decamber 1.5in offset FC Metal specs: 185cm long 20cm waist 12-16m sidecut Decambered tip and tail Sorry about the glare on the topsheets in the pics. The pics don't do them justice. And my younger son just HAD to get in the picture. He's the one that I rode tandem with (http://www.bomberonline.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=30276) and he's getting excited for winter too. philw
I like the look of that FLC. Ok, you have to ride them to know, but what's the basic difference between that and the WCR? I can read the specs, just wondering how differently they ride.

philw
I ride fast and more downhill then many other carvers, and I want a board that does just that. Yeah, me too - maybe I should stop in at the shop. So many choices...

There is a review of these types of boards here: http://www.bomberonline.com/articles/newhotness.cfm For longer GS style boards, it's the way to go. Buell
Why only for "longer GS style boards" ? Because he doesn't ride little wussy boards. :D The SL boards are so amazing to ride with the new designs. So fast, stable, and agile! His and her's 162 Kessler SLs are almost here!
