Perhaps I should shut up but I simply can't. Way too many people are reading this superb forum. Everett, giving wrong and unproved information is at least unfair (I don't want to use some other word because you might get offended again). I guess you don't know much about board construction, about SG and about Elan. I've been to Elan factories (skis are made in Slovenia, boards in Austria) many times. I know their knowhow, process details, quality control, etc. And SG range is the top of alpine line they are making. So every single word you wrote is untrue.
How many more people have to tell you TD1 and metal board are not compatible? Will another 10 will be enough? I doubt! All your efforts to blame SG of poor construction and Elan of lack of knowhow... that's discrediting of two highly reputable companies. You're trying to damage their hardly built reputation. Why? I understand your expensive board braking frustration but you should be more self-critical and less revengeful. You've mentioned to have two young kids, a job and a life, and being lucky to get to ride, train and race at all. Well I have two young kids too. I have a life too and selling boards is my job. If I sell 10 boards less because of your SG and Elan discrediting my kids might get shortened for summer holidays. Well I guess that's not your problem. It's my problem because I obviously sell wrongly constructed and poorly made boards, SG range 2011/2012 (soon 2012/2013 :D) to be more precise.
I completely agree with Bordy. If you filled this warrenty claim with me too this case would be closed. I also wish you good luck finding a great setup for yourself to have fun with!
